Followed Esther yesterday for her make over at parade... by Christian Dior! Sitting by her side, I watched the lady cleanse and moisturize her face before application of make up. Then I saw her professionally applying the foundation all over Esther's face and then dusting translucent powder over Esther's face for maximum oil-absorbance and giving the foundation a less caked up look. Oh, forgot. Prior to that, the lady shaved Esther's brows into a realllly nice shape(it's still there..! lol!) and filled it in with a brow pencil. And then I learnt a really cool technique(I can feel Amanda rolling her eyes already) on how to apply liquid eyeliner.. you kinda flick it on the lid, like creating another set of lashes behind your original lashes. Then she applied pinkish-purplish eyeshadow on Esther's lids..nothing new there..except I learnt that white shadow is a great highlighter..and it softens the glare of the bright colours that she put on Esther's lids. Then she applied mascara on esther's lashes, and her lashes were pretty damn long already, so it curled out quite beautifully and the lady used an eyelash curler to give her lashes maximum Oomph. Her lower lid was filled in with an eyeliner pencil. After that, it was time to do up the lips. First she lined it with a matte red lip liner..something like the colour of my text.. and then out popped this GORGEOUS DIOR LIPPY..beautiful pink with maximum glitter.. delicious..!! and she scraped abit onto a palette and used a lip brush and applied it onto Esther's lips making it pink and glossy..BEAUTIFUL!! then came the blush, didn't actually see much new things done there, but she emphasized on the contour of Esther's bone structure by using more of that highlighter.. good technique, that woman has.

Esther was then sent to this guy whom the ladies there called "Leng Chai of Subang Parade" to do her hair up for the shoot. He used loads of hairspray and loads of pins and there's this style of combing that Chien calls back-brush which gives Esther's hair that prom-ish look. After that she was twisted and pulled and turned and adjusted by this really small photographer/adobe wizard. The way he rendered and blurred was like watching a magic show. I used to remove Kay Hong's pimples for him by Adobe last year for some of the pictures he wanted done..lol..but this guy..my god, it's like his fingers flashing across the keys and the pictures all turn flawless. I didn't see Esther's pictures being done up yet..but I saw her auntie's one being done. Esther was posing and smiling till she became stiff and her jaw ached. LoL.. so much fun. Hope to save up enough money to have my chance next. Yay! Picked up quite alot of make up-ing skills, hair-styling skills and photoshopping skills...! Will open my own shop soon. lol.

Finished class at 1 today and Chien needed transport home and I asked her if she would like to try my driving. lol. Barry wanted to sample my driving too. LoL. After begging my mum to let me take the car out myself, Barry and Chien grasped tightly onto the safety belts but soon they were laughing about how there was once Audrey would turn around and talk to me when I asked her question. lol.. then I went through many a potholes..and got scoldings from Su-Chien ala my father. LoL.. goodness. Then apparently I stopped in the middle of the road in front of Chien's house..lol.. and she wanted me to do a u-turn which called for a three point turn..lol. to which barry referred to as my five point turn. After dropping Chien, who went out shaking her head, Barry asked if it could give my car a test drive. lol.. Scared as I was, he brought my car over to SS18(from SS19) safe and sound. Phew. And to think the first time I tested his driving was HIM driving MY car. Then I drove him home and drove myself home. Hehehe.. achievement! Whoohoo!
