Chien's parents were nice enough to fetch us all the way down to KL for some serious shopping. Armed with RM190.. i felt quite happy..knowing that I'd be able to get myself some togs! But as things are the way are, when you're SHOPPING shopping, you don't get bombarbed with "got-feel" items of desire. But shopping in small groups is sooooooo fun.. you just run into all the shops without needing to consider the patience of anyone else. So we went into the lala-lest shops and Chien was on a constant urge for denim..she bought a pair of jeans that she felt were too low cut.. and a nice miniskirt! I tried all the dresses..I've got this thing for casual dresses.. need to stock up on it more! :)
We went into max and collection and as I was looking at the clothes..suddenly i felt something fluttering on my hand...THERE WAS A COCKROACH ON MY HAND!!..and I swat it away feeling very very faint... I screamed, yes I screamed. And there was a couple of sales girl near me..and they looked at me with eyes that said, "So? normal wat. Why so noisy?".. But you know how you get that aftershock feeling...very cold and disgusted and freaked out?! That was me. Chien passed me some wet wipes to brush away any cockroach juice that it left behind on my hand.. UGHHHH As we were about to head upstairs for some good food, we bumped into Nicholas(chan), Marcus(chan) and a friend of theirs', Nick. Apparently they were half way through their chess competition and were heading down for some lunch. What a lovely coincedence! So we headed down to Mcd's for lunch. At least we have people to accompany us for lunch..:) Marcus said that he'd belanja us dinner if they win the tournament this time. Looks like our dinner is quite confirmed eh Chien? At about 3pm we continued our shopping frenzy.. went into this Chinese-sey shop.. and damn the cheongsams were cheap!! RM68 for a mini one..!! ahh..but it was a bit too big for me at the waist..(that's a first when it comes to clothes..0_0).... tried a black cheongsam that was a size smaller. I bent down to pick up my handphone and the buttons all popped open. Sigh.. Chien bought a chinese clutch bag for Rm15 there. It looked so pretty. Normally they cost Rm50+++.... Then Chien and I went into this lala-shop that sold loads of cute fashion and many colourful accesories.. lol..then Chien saw this metal rock-ey looking bracelet..and I was looking at the cute earrings at one of the walls..then Chien came to me and she was like, "Jo, we can just walk out lar.." and I was like, "hahaha..i dare you..".. then after many moments of me giving chien the chance to hide it in her bags.. we finally walked out but chien felt very very very evil..and very very very guilty..and very very very bad...lol..hahaha..after going to a few more shops.. more of chien's conciences having debates with each other.. we proceeded back to the shop and she went in to pay for it..but not before putting on another bangle and looking at it for a tad bit too long till I pried it off her wrist whilst laughing like a mad cow. lol.. see Chien managed to retain her good girl image. Hey don't look at me like I'm evil. The only thing I EVER EVER flicked was an Rm3 glow-in-the-dark nail polish from Living Cabin two years ago.. hAiHh..my reason being it's so small a value that I resent the very fact that I had to pay for it. But of course I left Living Cabins feeling horrible. After setting Chien's concience straight, we headed for more shopping, and I went into IDX..(somehow related to the shop SUB)...and there was a freaking big sale there..it was crowded.. I hardly had any breathing space. But I managed to buy two sleeveless tops for RM12 each..and a skirt. ..read, a SKIRT...for..RM FIVE!! I mean how is that even possible? and get this, GET THIS.. It actually fits!!!!!!! .. These are the clothes that are not for trying..since the sale was so unbelievable. There was this ugly dress that was originally RM99 and brought down to Rm10..lol.. By then I lost Chien, she was at this shop where they MAKE jeans for you. I walked many many rounds around Sg.Wang looking for this obscure shop that Chien was in. The shop owner is a damn amicable man. LoL. And he was nice enough to have mistaken me for a Japanese!! :D haha.. After that we had to go home already, and was proceeding to the monorail and I bumped into my godmum, goddad and cousin!! It was very nice of them to treat us to dinner..even though my goddad kept making jokes about 'thanking me for dinner'. haih..all my cash spent on clothes..mana ada extra. Apparently my cousin knows Chien's sister. Same school and all! My godma kept going on and on about how Chien is so pretty and polite! Ooohh..my mum let me drive home from my grandparents' house today. USJ3 to SS18. woohoo!!! |
