I know most of you can relate with me when I tell you that after a couple of hours of studying, you get distracted by strange activities that you won't usually do when you have all the time in the world.

It's like, "I HAve to do this before I continue with the next paragraph!". Procrastination at its best.

So yeah, took out my tub of Red Earth glitter(bought from KLCC back in 2002. Can still remember I was there with Esther, Mel and Sush to watch LOTR The Two Towers. LOL) and mixed it with my tiger balm with the help of my trusty ear digger.(Yee Wat).

This great love for glitter started back in 1999/2000. I think it was because of the whole silver and glitter theme for the turn of the millenium. Remember the trend? All y2k parties had silver as a colour theme. My first tube of glitter was from Girlfriend, an Australian magazine. I was so in love with it.

My favourite-est type of glitter is the shocking violet type of glitter. Like the one you saw on my mosquito bite. There are many types of glitter, you have the pastel coloured ones and the mono-coloured ones. The mono coloured ones are boring because you can buy it from any lousy bookstore and it's usually associated with ugly primary school art work. But it depends, the mono coloured hot pink glitter and mono coloured silver glitter can be good for decorating the borders/centres of fonts for handmade cards/placards.. whatever.

The pastel coloured ones are usually colourful but with a distinctive leading colour.
Such as my tub of glitter from Red Earth, this is a white coloured glitter but you can sometimes call it transparent glitter as well. But you get what I mean when I say it's colourful, yet it looks white? Same goes for other red, blue, green, yellow and orange glitters. The Nail Art Queen is Back!!


Just ask anybody, "What's Jolene's passion?" After blogging, you'll probably get "Nail Arts, duh" as an answer. And if the answer is Douglas Lim, tell them, "Oh that's *SO* 2003."


But I somehow lost the enthusiasm when a classmate of mine accidentally dropped all 100 bottles of my nail polish on the floor causing one of them to break INSIDE the bag hence coating all the other bottles with a shimmery purple. It's so messy and un inspiring, and that's how the passion slowly died away. And I've had it up to here with doing nail arts for charity. It was fun, yes, but lugging all my tools to college/school and then only managing to do ONE customer in ONE hour, reaping in a grand amount of RM40-80 per charity fair, it's not worth it.

I used to offer my friends and family free nail art/nail colouring services for fun. :)

I've been in kedah close to 6 weeks now. I want my mummy and daddy. I miss my boyfriend(who is in Bangkok now, so lucky. :() and my friends who are back from Australia..sigh. and yala yala i miss my brother and my dog also.

I miss my mummy because she's not around to nag me to get my laundry done.

Yes, I've ran out of clean clothes to wear. *Looks at mountain of dirty laundry on the floor*.

Perhaps I'll go naked for just one day tomorrow. So if you wanna see a naked mosquito bitten girl with odd glittery patches where the mosquito bites are running around, do come to Kedah and say hello..

By the way, I think I'm quite cute while I'm studying.

Just yesterday, I was immersed in my Speech topic. The speech topic is about articulation of words and the production of air from your lungs and modification of your air flow with your oral structures to form speech.

Like for example when you use "B" or "P" such as "Boy" or "PLay" and "M" such as "Man".. you bring your lips together to create the sound. That is called a bilabial classification.

Words with "V" and "F" as used in "Violin" or "Fuck" is done when your anterior teeth is in contact with your lips. Now that's called a labiodental classification.

With "L" as in "Late" or "Lame", your tongue is in contact with the roof of your mouth ie. palate to produce that sound. That's called the palatal classification.

Then sometimes oral structures can be brought together to produce non-verbal forms of communications such as the clicking of your tongue(but this is used in most African dialects. Think Russel Peters! "*humphumphump* OHH My GoDD.. *cliCK*-Bee-Lei!"). And other examples like the smacking of your lips or the mat rempit kissy kissy sounds. ("*Mooochhhmooch* Eh Ah Moiiiiii...")

So yeah. I'm cute because I spent like 2 hours studying that topic. I got constantly side tracked with my attempts at producing the sounds that I was reading about. So I sounded like a lizard+monkey+elephant trying to try to produce all the stated phonations.

I bet most of you were saying some of the examples out loud as well. Don't lie~~

Okay, time to hit the books again. By the way, do you guys like this white background better than the green background?

And how come nobody except Tzeching commented about my bug-eating abilities??:( I'm so sad. What a waste of effort.
