Entry: Examititis Thursday, June 02, 2005

As the end of the one month long examinations looms near, you'd think I would be clawing myself inside out so that the 8th of June arrives sooner.

As it is with every other bloody long exams, we have already declared holidays to ourselves too soon. Each day I come home smacking myself on the head thinking, "OH ya hor!! Still got three more papers. Nevermind, sleep for awhile first."

I'm sure it's a good thing that I am more relaxed as the number of papers that I have to sit for closes in on a number equivalent to the days I am away from freedom.

I can then stop being distracted by my anal habit of counting the number of pimples I have acquired when I should be studying. Things like these are the highlights of my day. "OH WOW. A Pimple on the arm? That's a first!" *reaches for digicam*

Yes, stress results in the strangest behaviors.

To de-stress, we sometimes blog. Just before my afternoon nap, I really wanted to blog. It was either blogging or reading Chien's FEMALE magazine. Text books can come just before dinner. I sat dumbfounded in front of my laptop screen and was shocked to find that, omigod, I have blogger's block. I never get blogger's block!

The thing is, NOTHING has been happening that is even remotely interesting to ME(it takes very little to interest me). I have no friends to blog about, no nonsensical observations to share, no photos to put up and I can't even camwhore because my skin is still healing from my pimples counting(and then the obligatory self surgery that follows) habit.

I won't even touch on the topic about how hairy my legs are because I have no where to go hence I don't need to shave. If your dinner is ruined already, I'll kill your supper too: These days I have to avoid wearing sleeveless tops.

Sometimes after a chapter of chemistry or two, I look longingly at my make up table and wonder what's going on inside the tubes and the jars. Is there a colony of mutated bacteria inside my untouched foundation bottle? Should I worry about the brown sediments that has settled at the bottom of my lip gloss tube?

The room is a complete mess. To quote my cousin Shevie who was arguing with her mum when she was asked to clean her room, "You should be grateful about the state of my room! Have you NOT seen Cheh Cheh's room? It will take FIVE days to clean up HER room."

It's true. I've seen Shevie hopping and tip-toeing over my scattered A-levels notes to come to my bed to say Hello when I am on my bed with the laptop. I have not seen my parquet flooring in about a month.

Messy rooms, pimply skin and hairy bodyparts aside, I don't even DARE to think about the amount of weight I have acquired in this time span. Dad got itchy and bought loads of chocolate from KLIA during one of his return flights from Vietnam. We took nearly two weeks to sapu everything. Everyday it was chocolate, chocolate and chocolate. Tv show at 9.30? Let's eat chocolates at the same time. Feeling nervous about the impending exams? Ah, chocolate should calm me down. Think PMS is coming soon? Chocolates should help!....or does it? Ah who cares. *gobble*

Of course I have been feeling pudgy. Name me ONE woman who does not feel fat come exam season and ... er, I'll feel abit more upset and pop another chocolate. Chien, Hsien and I even had an entire MSN conversation one night complaining about how fat we feel.(Read: Feel, not become. FEEL.)

I'm so sad because I can fold my stomach in two.....OK, FINE. The real number is three. Happy?! :(
