I've noticed that I have learnt to adapt to college life and it feels natural already. The walk up the pedestrian crossing(mountain climbing), dodging the mad traffic, avoiding bumping shoulders with unknowns, accepted that its just my nature to break chem apparatus(we'll get to that), the culture shock, and the "malaysians" whom I deem foreign just because they're not from Subang Jaya(even the KLites).
But one thing I don't understand is my class rep whom I shall just call Penyu. Obviously, he hails from Terengganu. On Friday he turned around said, "You photostat this la". I was like " Ah, Isn't that YOUR job?".. then Chien was like, "take turnsla".. then I'm like "Okay.. fine.".
So on Monday in I came trudging with the papers and asking him to help me settle the funds and he just said, "oh, um, er, not my joblar.." Fuck you la.. then is my job to photostat the papers!? So from then on I was shit pissed at him already. Su-Chien succumbed to photostatting stuff for him.("Haiyah, very convenient only wat..").. Then the best bit was when he left the whole stack of physic practicals on his table yesterday, it being his duty to bring it to the staff room. The Sarawak guys who helped him take it down questioned him about it today. You know what the asshole said??
"Oh, I was just testing to see who would take it down for me."
Plus Penyu has a serious speech problem and is indeed lacking of communiciation skills.(when you can't talk at least smile and pretend you understand).
Once again, I've lived up to the tradition of me breaking stuff in the chem lab .. shit.. I was analyzing the colour of my solution when I heard a crack/pop. Loud enough for the whole class to turn around scouring for the source. I did the same. Then Jia Lin(Pink Girl) said, "Your tile!".. sure enough, the burette fell straight onto the tile... still vertical..and unbroken..but the tile got a mad jaggard line across, up, down, and horizontal. My goodness.. another 1 buck. I have to start putting aside money in a piggy bank called "Distruction of Chemistry Labaratory's Apparatus".
Another interesting thing is that I discovered 5 other PTSs in my class today!! Jia Lin(Pink Girl), Jocelyn, Shi Wen, Caroline, Pek Li! ..oh the joy! =D
