I Will Survive

Just got back from maths tuition feeling a little bit depressed in the beginning because Su-Chien and Su-Hsien seemed so happy about having seen/going to see Saturday Night Fever..and me, being so fervent about going, can't, coz my parents are packed for the month. And istana Budaya, i have no idea how to get there. Only been there in 2002 for Cats. There, I love Musicals. Who wants to go with me to watch Annie? If Phantom of the Opera ever comes, I'd go. Su-Hsien, please don't die laughing.

Plus having to absorb combination of random variables and feeling sad about not going to Saturday Night Fever is a big nono. It brings on bits of tears. Fortunately for me, it evaporated from my eyelids fast enough and there were no tell tale signs as yours truly have miniscule eyelashes that won't stick seductively on lowerlids when tears are to be poured. After a good hour into tuition, I decided to be grown up about it and understand that :

1. self's parents won't have time
2. self won't have enough money to bring self there
3. self can't bring self to Istana Budaya
4. self don't know who of self's friends would like to go
5. self has self's midyear exams coming around.. self is running out of time to study(yes, what the fuck is self doing blogging now)
6. self is 17 years old. Big girl adi. Self cannot be a baby about it.

Therefore, self will buy the DVD/VCD version of Saturday Night Fever and enjoy it anyhow.

Touching? No?

E-guy was nice enough to fetch me home. And we were talking about studying techniques and how to avoid last minute studying. He asked me to sleep early and to not bother about studying my physics now. We were like so semangat, "Yes, sleep early! Start anew tomorrow! WHooHoO!!..Semangat!!!".. then I came into my room, and saw just 5 more pages of my Physics chapter ... I thought, ah, what the heck. But first, on the computer. I'm such a disappointment. Brother promised to dig ears for me tonight(can't remember what favour he owes me..it's like that, when he owes me a favour.. he will dig my ears.. ei, ah yes. I remember now.He took a printer ink cartrige from my pink computer-stuff box and did not stack back my books that were on top of it but left it lying on the floor obstructing my door's opening angle. I just gave him a damn disappointed look instead of the usual obscene screaming sessions and he immediately promised me 3 nights of ear digging. This is my second. Understand anything about what I just said? no?)

p/s: father's car just got banged by some Malay lady in a Satria. Father's Camry was only scratched. Malay lady's bonnet remuk semua. Like folded.

Academically Declining

This weekend is the third weekend from my mid term. And where am I? On the average, one and a half chapters from the beginning of each of my Science subjects. I'm not even touching my Thinking Skills and Maths subjects yet. ScreWwed.

Just got back from this sad excuse of a fish shop in 19.. Dad wants to buy a nice shelf for his new marine fish tank.. haih, a new hobby yes. Just another hobby added to his long list of 5 minutes fever. There was the days of japanese carps, ice-kacang making(he bought an ice shaver, which now sits next to the refrigerator, forgotten.), video making, photo taking, using the treadmill(which he has started using again, recently)..and um, making bread that tak jadi and had to be pinched from a lump of dough to be eaten. Yum. :) But it'd be pretty, marine fishes and all.

There was this scary looking snake headed turtle at that sad excuse of a fish shop that seemed to be bopping his head in time to the ah beng disco music being played at the fish shop. And then there was this other turtle-ish looking um, turtle that had a snout. Me thinks some pig raped a turtle in Terengganu. What with all the separation of males and females.. an increasement of libido is inevitable.

But wait, a PIG in Terengganu? That is something to think about. *ponders with an intellectual look on face*

Just got back from Carrefour actually..Parents bought me a dark blue 'multi-purpose' shelf(ve?) for my increasing number of books! joy~! Was thinking of putting a layer of laquer over it and then sprinkle glitter all over it..!! *goes giddy with happiness* I also got a nice plastic 5-tier drawer..APPLE GREEN...for my many many 'home clothes'. Good good. My room's colour motive is dark green, apple green, and navy blue(on the lighter shade). Now I must get rid of my scottish-clothed clothes rack that harbours folded clothes awaiting to be put into my cupboard and a big old plastic container(was used for my masak masak toys a decade ago) which contains all my uglier bags and a whiteboard that reminds me things. And the magazines, to throw or to keep? ... Well, will hold a major spring cleaning session right after the exams!

Maybe if I take a picture of my room, you guys can play Interior Designer and help me with some ideas to maximise the neat factor for my room. And to achieve neat factor, I've a long way to go. Serious.

Woman Driver

Lousy lousy lousy day. First of all I planned to study .... but because my grand dad's been in the hospital for three days for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease..and we've been in and out of the hospital.. I haven't had time to study..except for my bio test which was today. That I managed to complete. Let's just hope for the best.

My granddad got discharged today though.. But he needs to be on this oxygen concentrater thing which can be brought home (for rental)..and he needs to have a good dosage of oxygen or he may get brain damage. Haih. The first night nearly 20 of m family members were there. A security guard was called to tell us off. Haih. My granddad shared a ward with three other patients..one being a guy from SS17(previously)..but he's my age. Tan Guan Hoong or something. Talked to him a little and asked him if he knew people like Teck Fei, Ming Wei.. and he said, "nah, i hang with koon Seng." that explains alot. He's not schooling anymore too, working in Bangsar. My aunty knows his parents coz she buys pork from them. The guy was in to remove a long long screw in his bone that was put into it when he broke his bone in 2002 due to a motorcycle accident. He's *abit* of an eyecandy who can't speak english(thank god I know my cantonese) .. but I bet he felt embarassed to be seen, by a girl who has mutual friends with him, in a hospital gown, looking half dead and groggy. Ah well.

Hey, I was bored at the hospital ok?

Poor Barry lost his MD player at class today. I don't know about him, but if it was me, I'd be crying. But then again, when am I never? Anyway, we went for LAN but Barry skipped LAN and went for lunch. He came back and discovere that his MD player was gone. Joanne lost her discman in the same classroom on a friday last month. Chien wrote a lovely poem(albeit abit sadistic) for Barry to make him feel better. Coincedence?

Then apparently Eleanor told Barry that there's a guy going around checking the bags of people who leave their bags in class when they shift class. The fucking bastard. Barry wanted to leave his charger and software and abit of md players for the fucker next Friday and hide somewhere, awaiting his enemy. I told him, maybe we could put another bag, with an I POCKET DV(my family's) and when he wants to STEAL it.. it'd get a good footage of him and he'd be jumped on by us. HAHAHA. But the plan was terminated by the pessimistic Barry.

My turn of bad luck. I drove to Mel's house to get Esther's present(Esther, finally!!)...As I was coming out of the road (SS18/4G) leading to the straight road that leads to the roundabout in 15? ... I went straight too much and turned to slow and the side of my car rammed into the curb. I felt a mighty bang and the feeling was like when u jump from somewhere high and land squarely on your feet. Your head feels funny. That feeling. With tears streaming down my face, mother, brother and I went down to check the damage. I bet my brother had alot of fun shouting at me to turn the lights off and on again, pretending to be father. Bitch. I'm so stupid. I left quite a long stretch of tire marks on the curb as my car went on top of it and came down again. Anyone who is free can go have a laugh at it just before the u-turn to 14 before turning into the row where Edeton is.

The Damage. It's at the front part of the car..this is the RHS bottom part. You can see that the fog light went in. And those are scratches. Freaky?

Hi, my name is Jolene and if there is a question in your head, this answer will definitely answer it: I was wrong and irrational. I was being a woman.

Jolene Lai, Jolene Lai,
Came to life in January and not July,
She is 19 years of age,
Can't wait to earn her own wage,
This dental student is home sick,
Will never be in Kedah for more than three weeks.

Subang Jaya is where she's from,
The only place she'll ever call home.
Has a boyfriend, a brother and a dog,
The things she says can give you a shock.

Especially for her father, who always gets a heart attack when he reads this blog.

Hey, rhymes!
