Underage and Evil Brothers

Woke up at 7.00am yesterday just so that I can go for the stupid amali thing at god knows where. So yeah, waited at the freakin' driving school for like 10 minutes alone..thank god for mp3 players and the Steward of Gondor.. Esther and Elizabeth arrived and Elizabeth said that the woman called her up yesterday and said that I was underage and would have to wait until I turn 17! #$)#(*$)#$

Then the stupid driving school people came and said, "eik, I thought I told you not to come today?" I was like, "Uh! I did not receive a call yesterday," then the lady said," Well I called your house phone and left you a message,"... WHO LEAVES MESSAGES THESE DAYS?! .. then i said, "Um, prefably my handphone?!"

Bitch. So I called mum and she sounded sympathetic and all and just as I was to put the phone down, she said, "Okla, so you walk home k??" Shit.

Basically a very boring day unworthy of blogging but somehow these fingers say, "WHILE AWAY YOUR TIME JO.."... very well then. Spent the rest of that sleep deprived morning TRYING to watch Lord Of The Rings Part One. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
It was good, I tried to watch it. But I cannot help it..my eyes kept fluttering shut.

Then this morning fucking brother WON'T go down to meet Aunty Vicki(Pn.Vignesvary) who was outside to return a pinafore that I thought her daughter could wear. I mean between a (fuckedup)GUY and a GIRL who had equal amounts of sleeping time and arised at about the same time, who is more presentable? who? WHO? WHO?! OF COURSE THE GUY GODDAMNIT..!!! So he and his prissy "I CAn't Be SeEen DreSs LikE thaT.." pranced back to his room and experiencedly slammed his door .. then the choice was left with MUM or JO.. Mum's boobs were more obvious (Info: Women don't wear bras to bed). So it was Jo and Smelly Breath. WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME?!!? Isn't a girl supposed to get her way ALL the time? prat of a brother!!

Went to Megamall for some christmas shopping. AND.. and.. College Clothes shopping..! But I couldn't find presentable clothes there... all except padini served quite a nice range of clothings that I deemed suitable for my college attire. Bought a nice white button down top..(crisp, linen....yum), a pair of shorts(of course for home use only) and a nice pair of crops(capris). My mum actually didn't mind me setting foot into Miss Selfridge but I couldn't find anything nice there.

From now on, you guys are gonna get a daily(each entry) dosage of a Jolene's cute guys' pics. of course, they are mostly celebrities and will find a WAY to GEt a DIGI CAm..then I will be taking snapshots of random men on the streets.. and then I'll need to hire a lawyer.

Andersens Of Denmark

Went to pyramid very early today...say 10.45am? Brought dad's friend Uncle Simon, Uncle George and Steven out to Pyramid for lunch(haha). Oh yeah, the real reason was that they wanted to buy a laptop! And you know men and computers, it's like bargain bargain bargain.. so it tooked a good 2 and a half hours that they were hanging out at the IT centre.. whereelse Jolene tried her luck at several(three) outlets to see if they were hiring. Yes, I actually have this crazy idea to start working now.. and I was thinking of slotting my part-time work into my college schedule. I told my parents that if my time management gets from bad to worse, I'll quit. Perhaps I'll work till April? March? may? Let's see.. what target shall i set? YES. A DIGICAM~~!! fucking sony non-waterproof cam..:(

Well alright then, so there I was looking around, and of all places, Andersens of Denmark? SOUNDS TERRIFIC! LOL.. at least this way I am like in the midst of happenings in Pyramid.. easy to spot people..and like wise... great performances on ice..(and I get paid at the same time!=D) ...
Well so it was like that, I went up to the counter and was like, "are there any vacancies for a part-timer?" the lady pointed at this other guy who was on the phone.. He's the operations executive(someone, what does that mean?).. however he was in charge.. but he could not have been older than britney spears! I mean my cousin who's an Operations Executive(I'll ask him what it means) is the same as britney.  He was quite nice though! Passed me a form and I felt so happy..:P to be able to write in the "Past workplace" section. I could even put down a reference!!

Well then the guy asked me, "So what's ur name?" I was like, "Jolene.." and he was like, "Ah?".. I thought he wanted to write it down..I spelled my name out for him. IDIOT GIRL.. IDIOT!!!! Then he just smiled. He said, "Henry." I was like, "No, Jolene," thinking that he mistook my pronounciation for something like erin or enry or whatever strange sounding girl names .. he was like, "no no, I'm Henry," OH right...!.. i wish i could've dunk my head in some ice-cream at andersens. Then he got me to sit down in front of him and asked me about where I stayed and seemed quite happy to know that it'd be convenient for me to get to Pyramid anytime at all. He also took pity on my meagre salary back at Nail Artz. "Well according to labour laws, on public holidays we triple your pay," said Henry. I was like, "OH YAY!!".. but then you have to understand, I was working SECRETLY back then. The government didn't know! NO they didn't. SHHHH. I was illegal!! What they gonna do? Send me back to Indonesia? but anyway, then he was like, "oh? SPM(Soon)? What does that mean?" I was like, "Oh, I just sat for my SPM.. awaiting results.. but I'm starting my college in January and so I'm looking for a job where I can come in say twice in the weekdays and perhaps the weekends too." He asked if I could speak any other languages.. I was like the basics and cantonese too.. I can't recall what he said, but he said that yea they were looking and that he needed more chinese anyway. He was like, "Wow you're young! How is it that you finished schooling already?" ... me blushing, "uhm, I skipped standard 4..(no point using terms which I'll have to give lengthy explanations and end up embarassing myself more..)".. "Wow you're a genius then!".... WHEE!!! AM I??? "Oh, no, don't say that," said I with a shy smile. I could do a shy smile. Then he gave me abit of story about the origins of the company.. not that I asked, but I should've..! Then he asked, "So have you tried our ice-cream?" No, I haven't so I replied, "Of course..!"...then he was like, "Really? Which flavour?" THINK FAST JO!! "Uhm, ah, my friend buys them for me, I can't quite remember..".. I hope that didnt't sound too fake.

But anyway, this Henry guy, he's quite sweet looking if I may so myself! But then again, the girls will raise their eyebrows so much it'll look like Min Dee sans eyebrow case back in f4.;P Apologies Dee! But then as for me, my taste in guys, easily reflected by alot of people's comments, like for example: "Seriously? Douglas Lim?" or "My grandfather is much cuter,"..I don't like dangerous looking guys..:) I like safe, young professionals and tame types. Of course with the package deal that I've always had with me: taller than me, NOT fairer than me, i love deep voices?, frameless glasses melts my heart ANYDAY.. and of course, wonder smiles. *sigh* During the Langkawi trip I was making reference to a cute one to barry and he was like, "Jo, your taste in guys DO suck,".. yeah well, :) for a metrosexual he certainly was being contradicting. I was like, "That's insulting yourself,".. to which he replied, "I'm sure you were VERY different back in standard 6." .. LOL. Yea sure, ANYBODY who was taller than me was crushed on by me. *points at self* Whore.

Blocked Nose

On Monday another puppy died of tummy infection...this is becoming too depressing!! But then it's been five days and the remaining three are fat and kicking!
Had Karen who came over to do nail art for her prom!!:D Jolene's famous!! And then there were wai ping and Siow May who were supposed to come like super long ago and they came yesterday.. I sent my little promoters on their way..=D.. had good feedback from their peers! Yes! I'm starting my very own nail art business then! And I was quite pleased to see that they had a wide range of nail art stickers in Sinma the other day when I went out with Su-Hsien, Esther and Mel. But I nearly passed out when I saw that they had a SOOOO MANY RHINESTONES/DIAMONTES/FLAT BACK CRYSTALS.. I mean, imagine looking around places like Petaling Street, KLCC, Midvalley.. and not finding any.. AND THEN.. finding it in .. of all places, SINMA SUNWAY PYRAMID is like, an old lady having her glasses on her head and not knowing where she put them.

Went to watch LOTR with Hsien, MelandVJ, Esther, Mun Teng, She Dee, Kevin and Adrian yesterday at Summit! A (cute)friend of Hsien booked the entire cinema for their church people and had some leftover tickets(which we had to pay of course) ... works well for everyone! And for the first time in three years, Jolene actually stayed wide awake throughout a Lord Of The Rings movie. The show was THAT good. I'm so in love with Billy Boyd's The Steward Of Gondor which Billy, who plays Pippin, sang for Deneathor!! OMG!!! I can remember the names of characters from LOTR!!!!! And I've been looking up the delish cast online.. Sean Astin is not so cute as a human being.. better a hobbit! And Dominic somethingsomething is okay, a cross between Jack Black and Sean William Scott.. And elijah? Too strange the origins, no thank you. Yeah Pippin's my favourite Hobbit then. But discovered that David Fenham/Fenhen/Whatever who plays Faramir is quite a hottie!

Then last night there was Marcus's birthday party.. it was a barbecue at his house actually! But an hour before the party, it started to pour and we were like, gee, poor marcus. The party was quite nice..:) Cozy and friendly and for once barbecued food was actually great. I've never had fully cooked barbecue chicken EVER before! Had great gossip sessions and the langkawi trip people kept retelling Langkawi trip stories...oh dear god.. enough. Amanda had a little mishap with chrashing down tequila's at 7-11..when she snipped out to buy some "drinks". Seriously dear Mandy, seriously. So NOT you.
