Medusa's Nose

It's back to college again after two weeks of break. WHEEE.

The first class I fell asleep for was Chemistry. My nose and the test paper that we were checking had about less than an inch in between them. Then my head bopped to the right, generating soft giggles from Barry and Arvind, my head bopped to the left, generating soft giggles from Su-Chien and Shi Wen. ;\

Today I was peering close at Chien's face and notice a tad bit of bumps, definitely invisible if you're talking to her as a normal person. (remember? I'm Jolene ma!) I voiced my concern and she was like, "YALO I'M DAMN WORRIED!!! I told my mother and my mother said, "HOR DIE LA DIE LA"".. ahahah. I told her if I could go around with a red dot on the tip of my nose (pimple scar), surely she would be able to with a couple of skin coloured miniscule bumps on the tip of her nose?

Seeing that she was so worried, I told her "Yalo.. eeyer, look like crocodile skin..bear's paw.. yuck  yuck!". She turned away, too pissed for words. I decided to cheer her up by showing her my special trick. I think this trick is what I did last year that brought about my nickname "Ku Lo Yuk"(fat fat meat) from fellow 5 Zetaians.

I took out my trustly blue Clean And Clear Oil Film and put it over the tip of my porous nose and pressed hard on both sides... and transparent dots could be seen forming on the oil film, hence grossing Chien out to the max. I removed the film revealing my gross white heads that made her shriek in horror. I was so amused and decided to continue.

I told her to peer closely at my nose. I squeezed my nose sans oil film and I knew this would happen: my white heads would wiggle out like toothpaste or, maggots if you like,(in chien's description). She looked at me in horror and closed her eyes and turned away and went, "AHhhhhhhHhhhhhhhhH!!" ..I was of course enjoying myself, laughing. Then she was like rubbing her eyes and sniffing.. AHAHAAHA.. I made her cry!!! LOL.. That was the funniest shit for such a long time. This girl cries when she watches those Plastic Surgery reality shows. Hahaha.

Later in the day she drew a pic of a girl with a pig nose and wiggly bits excreted out of the top of her nose and a picture of a stickman with a bundle of fluff at the crotch. She was referring to the two gross stuff that I've told her today. LOL. The stickman figure was about a mutual friend of ours who does something akin to bikini waxing.

*penyeeeet*

I'm quite sure that when I put this up, I will remain a spinster for life.

Weird Dreams

My dreams, they never make sense. But whose does?

I was taking a nap at 4pm today and as I was on the border of conciousness and sleep, in my head I saw this car doing a getaway in front of my old school, and apparently I've been watching that car(ala Detective) for a few days now. The person in the car was always talking to this girl outside the school. I asked about the person's whereabouts and she didn't want to tell me anything or something, and I started  unravelling her hair. How can I unravel someone's hair?! I unravelled her hair until she was naked.. which is so damn weird. That's when I heard my phone's sms tone and it was from Mel. (this is real life). She was telling me about her stalking business(notti girl!) again..muaahhaha.I told her about my weird dream. She didn't reply though.

I fell back into slumber soon after. The dream continued almost immediately.

It was a dark night, probably after a rain and there were alot alot of people around. Some fest was probably on but I was not sure what.

You know in SU(my old school), before the PIBG made those cement steps at the backgate we had to climb up the hardened soil(which could be loose after a rain)?
In my dream it was much higher, very very steep and everybody was doing a conga to get up. It was all very jovial but tiring too. I saw alot of old SU faces... felt so happy just to be in that atmosphere. We were all probably back there for some major event. But it was weird to be climbing up that slippery slope holding on to each other's waists. I reached the top and then I heard simultaneous screams from the crowd and felt my body tugged back but I managed to grab onto the nearest tree in time.

I thought most of the crowd slipped down the slope and fell but they merely tripped and were back on their toes soon after. I saw three figures lying on the ground near a tree in that garden(It was the LEO garden). It was a Malay man with two young children. Alot of people were crowded around them and when they saw the sight, they immediatey formed some breathing space for the three unconcious people. Some people were photographing the three people. I approached one of them and asked if he could send me the pictures. I ...haha..wanted to post it up on my blog. This guy was big and burly.  He strangely resembled this fat dude who was in the swimming pool with me yesterday. I don't know I'm dreaming of a stranger.

I peeled a piece off the white envelope I was carrying(I can't remember what it contained) and wrote my blog address down with a pen. This pen is very weird. When I write my "http://.." It just won't go on after that. My hand seemed to have a hardtime controlling my writing. It was as if the pen had no ink... and I felt so much difficulty just to write my blog address.... and when I did succeed, it was just a jumble of words, badly written.. almost illegible.

Then suddenly it was Genting and we proceeded up white echoey stairways. It was like a normal fire escape route but much much wider.
There were a bunch of girls who were college friends of my friends. There was this all girls tobogan competition.. and strangely I was in a team of girly girls and our tobogan was a BARBIE DOLL one. 0_0.. I'm not sure if Jia Lin was in my team or not.

Down and down and down we slid...fast, twisty, bumpy, adrenaline rushing. I remember passing my belongings like my wallet and my handphone to Su-Hsien/Esther before going down. At the bottom of the slide was a shopping mall and it was freezing cold as I was only clad in my bikini.*beats me?* I had a towel with me and I was walking around looking for my mother. The walk around all the floors and stairs was so tiring and don't forget, it was Genting. I was without a handphone..imagine the panic I had in me. At the end, I did find my mother and she was talking to a pregnant woman.

Right. I think I pretty much know how to interpret my dream. But that's for me to know, not for you to find out. ;) ;)

Below is a link that scared the shit out of me. I shall remain a virgin, longer. Ahahaha.

A Man Who Loves Chick Flicks

Kay Hong, feel proud that I called you a man.

The last bit of my holidays is abit mundane save for a mild spring cleaning session for my room!

I rearranged everything on my makeup table and threw so many things away and left abit of space to make it look neat. I don't know, but it sure does the trick.

Ah yes... and my 3-6 year old nail polishes will be put to sleep. So long, farewell!
If you think I'm wasting, well, no, those in the picture above have gone through so many drops of nail polish thinner that it's actually thinner itself already! No point in putting myself to an early death by inhaling unnecessary fumes, eh?

I'm currently on a TVB Binge.. this is more serious than usual. I am currently renting To Get Unstuck In Time. Starring Roger Kwok and Flora Chan. Lovely storyline really.. :) I like to see Roger Kwok act. He's usually given rich boy roles.. ah..*salivating*. But too bad he's short. Will probably reach up to my armpits. It's a Detective story, very Witness To A Prosecution. Not a logic show. But as the reviews all say, it is very clear that they copied "Frequency"-a show about a father and a son communicating through an old fireman's radio from past to present. You get my gist. In this series, it's using a tai kor tai(those big water tumbler type of handphones). He communicates to his father who is living in 1984 and him in 2004. His father dies in that same year(1984).

Kay Hong picked me up at 5pm for a swim at Villa. This time we managed to do many laps up and down. Kay Hong's reason for going swimming is so that he can obtain his lifeguard license.

Within a lap or two, he was already gasping for air..and doing his "breath in breath out rapidly" act indicating that he needed his rest. HAhaahah. Kay Hong, Kay Hong.

I was taking my own sweet time, doing the frog style, when the Kiasu fella wanted to outdo me by doing breaststroke so that he can "win" me. Muahaha. Who's gasping for air now?

LOL.. So I thought him how to relax his body by floating on his back without trying. It's really really relaxing. Put your legs on the side of the pool, cling on to the side using the behind of your knee and slowly extend yourself out by inserting air into your stomach(pretend you have a tummy, or rather, a bigger tummy, in my case). Just let your arms float by itself to the side. It's very very comforting. I demonstrated it, and he looked at my floating body and started laughing, "Hahaha, you look like -censor-." He meant that I looked flat. Good. Now I wear padded bras again.

Glad to see he was alright soon after, and THEN he tried to "win" me again. ;-_-
He'll never learn.

Was very much amused at all his 'love stories' and apparently I laughed very 'keji'-ly at his stories.. hahaha. Well Keji stories deserve keji laughs.

We decided to blow our parents' Villa cards and have dinner at the buffet area which is quite expensive. But nevertheless I had a chat with him(something that is not very likely) about 'stuffs'. At least his information is pretty reliable, given his credibility. I was abit touched about what he relayed to me. Makes me hope that someone will reply my email soon enough. *Sigh*. He told me that I'm pretty 'fucked up' and that I am 'the most serious case'. Good to know I'm the most serious. *happy sigh*
I know this all sounds a tad bit confusing..but I don't really enjoy posting about my "emo" life. :D AND NOW I KNOW that 3 years ago, it was really this notti boy who was playing a full with someone's ICQ account. Hmph. I knew that someone is always quite a gentleman, not as uncouth as this cheeky fella. Haih!

My exam results are nothing much to scream(in both ways) about. I expected a disapproving look from my dad, but he said, "keep up the good work!" No A's, yet keep up the good work?! ... I know I'm lucky to be deprived of a long lecture. But WHY DON'T I GET A'S?!?!

Maybe he was being sarcastic. Hmm.

Hi, my name is Jolene and if there is a question in your head, this answer will definitely answer it: I was wrong and irrational. I was being a woman.

Jolene Lai, Jolene Lai,
Came to life in January and not July,
She is 19 years of age,
Can't wait to earn her own wage,
This dental student is home sick,
Will never be in Kedah for more than three weeks.

Subang Jaya is where she's from,
The only place she'll ever call home.
Has a boyfriend, a brother and a dog,
The things she says can give you a shock.

Especially for her father, who always gets a heart attack when he reads this blog.

Hey, rhymes!
