Perfect Triangles

*holds on to bladder in desperation*
This is one of my first times blogging from the college library..:D But most of my entries are freaking boring(ahem) when I blog from the library.

The fact that I plan to attend a talk by NUS later ..say, 15 minutes later? So does not help make this any exciting.

Su-hsien is peering at me and correcting my english. *grrrr..shoots daggers at hsien*

So I'll just amuse you with what wonderful friends I have.:) I have a distribution list in my phone entitled 'mengadu' which consists of a couple of wonderful friends who will here me whine and know what i'm whining about without asking the cause of it. :)
Bless you all.:)

=D The first message went something like deforming the annoying human's face with my folder if the annoying human so much as open the annoying human's mouth. Yes. It has come to this point.

The second message consisted of them trying to defend me...one being a future lawyer ..what with all the divorce..ahahha.. and the other one suggesting the future-lawyer to help. My message back to them was something about me rather plucking my boobs out and putting them on a shelf and turning my pussy lips inside out and chanting whatever traumatised nuns chant.

One of my 'mengadu' list members' message back to me was "forgive and forget".
Nope, no can do. Happens everytime. Constant reminder, how to forget? Therefore, cannot forgive. I'm getting all irrational. But that's just how it is. *sticks tongue out*

By the way, David asked me to blog about how his MATHS teacher forgot to zip her pants up.
Hee haw, can see your panties wor.

Ok, let me go pee now and get inspired by the NUS people:)

Celebrity Onion

Upon arriving at Chien's house yesterday after the incident, our proposed all-nighter muffin baking had been reduced to a mere 3 hours. Meaning by the time I arrived they were wrapping muffins already. I arrived at the door laden with bags and books and plastic bags and was practically bent in half, my sweet friends greeted me at the door with sympathetic faces and a muffin(comfort food).

l-r: Li Peng and Esther and the muffins galore.

I want to take pictures of the baking process actually..but *sigh*

mmmmm.. Mt. Muffin!

So neat right? Trust Su-Chien to do that.

So happy that it's all done. And the time was only 7.30pm.

After dinner, Su-Hsien popped over to lepak for awhile and was moaning about a missing chapter in her business notes. *yada,yada*.. Haha, we retired to Chien's room to do this:

Me doing Hsien up..lol.. she will so kill me..

Chien took out all her makeup and we started playing. We did the exact same thing 4 years ago while preparing for the school's Canteen Day in form2.

Haha, Chien did Li Peng up. Quite radiant eh?

All geared up for the SPA carnival!

We spent the entire night(me, li peng and chien) looking at pictures on Chien's computer. Hahhaa..so fun. But so tiring also.. Zz. Chien was so nice to sleep on the floor. At 2am, Li peng hasn't showered and had a chem essay to write. 500 words long.

Li Peng and a customer(who appears to look on doubtfully?)

When I got back from Physics Practical(I FINISHED IT!!! FOR THE FIRST TIME!!).. Yijin and Adrian were there!!!. Adrian gave me a hug as a sign of sympathy for my yesterday's incident. and Yijin was jumping up and down saying he loves reading my blog and something about reading my blogs three times in uni(?).. ! HAhaha, I'm so touched! I always wanted Yijin to read my blog, to see his cute pictures below..lol. damn farnee pics.

l-r: Eu-Foh and Gaya. They came to get their nails done. ..LOL..

That's me, wanting to be part of the picture. Next to our booth was this booth belonging to a woman who selled sold cute little things made from polymer clay.

Hahahah, the finishing product. Eu-Foh and gaya's hands.

l-r: Li Peng, Eu-Foh and Gaya. 5 Zeta reunited!!!

Our nail art booth made enough money to buy us 9 hundred cars and 7 houses in tropicana.

The grand total was a whopping RM40++ Arghh.. so embarassing..

Poor Li Peng even had a customer demand for a refund. Oh yea, thank you Kelly for helping out!! Kelly is Li Peng's classmate:)

After that, eu-Foh fetched me home with Gaya in the car. I decided to test them to see if they still knew the way back to my house. Ho. ho. Ho. They were like driving past my house twice, debating which is my house. LOL... of course they'll never know. My house has been renovated. LOL. hahaha.. then unfortunately my aunty arrived at the same time and horned at us, then Eu-Foh did a three point turn accompanied with an evil laugh and followed my aunty. Hahahaha.

Later in the night, my mum, who has recently been introduced to the wonderful world of TVB reviews on the internet, decided to get me to teach her to use the computer after procrastinating for 3 years.("After your PMR ar, you teach me to send email!")

Anyway, lol, so I told her to switch the power button on. Then as the startup screen was loading, I put on a frantic tone and screamed, "MUM!!! PRESS THAT BUTTON NOW!! PRESS NOW!!!".. then her head darted all over the keyboard and she with an equal frantic tone enquired, "WHERE?? WHERE???" ...lol..I burst out laughing and spewed abit of rice pops out(i was eating a rice pop bar).. haha then she said, "who buy for you to eat wan hah!.." ... and then she said, "Woi faster la teach me la what to do..".. lol at that time the Welcome to Windows XP was loading..u know with that green little loading bar..hahaha.. then I said, "wait la!! still loading.." ..hahha then she was so embarassed. LOL..I had to explain to her the way to use a mouse. :D left click to select, right click for menus.

Half an hour later, I had to pluck my mum's fingers off the keyboard or not both of us wouldn't be sleeping for the entire night. (she with the addiction, me with the lights on).

U-turn Banshee

Hello, I'm just done crying my eyes out to my entire family in Subang Jaya. But I have to say thanks to everyone of them for showing me their utmost concern.

I was fetching my brother to MCD's in Taipan just now and just as I was about to do a u-turn on the road that leads to the traffic lights situated next to MPSJ, there was this stupid blue satria that was also doing a u-turn in the opposite direction. I was pretty sure the other cars weren't coming too near. So I went. And I 'makan' the road too much, went into the third line. At the same time there was this black iswara that was heading towards me.. (apparently quite fast, according to my brother). In order to avoid me, he swerved to the left, which was the curb. So there was a loud screech and he kept horning at me. I didn't know that the entire situation involved me.. so I just drove on a few metres to a traffic light. There was a fork junction next to me and the guy got out of his car and put both his hands on the hood of my car and asked me to COME DOWN AND NEGOTIATE!!!.. I was so scared I didn't know what to do. I wanted to drive away but then he was holding onto my car. He was shouting at me to come down. I was so scared I started screaming and screaming and screaming. I just kept on screaming everytime he opened his mouth. Not screaming vulgarities. Just pure horrified screams. Like when you see a dead body type of scream? That type of scream. It just kept coming.. and coming.. I think I was hoping to scare him off ? But of course, in typical Jolene fashion, the waterworks were switched on full blast. My brother was calling my mum, who in turn called almost all the relatives in Subang Jaya. My cousin Kwan Hoong and his mum, Adeline, my uncle alex, my grandfather, grandmother, my cousin Hong Weng(who was at PJ at that time) and of course, my father.

He came to the side of my window and tapped on it lightly, but still looked quite fierce. Then I meekly winded down the window since I had not much choice left. I was not going to do a runner and do a car chase. That'd be the end of me. Miraculously my car didn't even touch his car. But he was making such a big fuss. So we pulled over at USJ11.. and he called two of his friends over. His car license plate read www.vinod.com at the bottom. Anybody familiar? Then my grandfather and grandmother arrived. My grandfather, not one to hold his temper, started asking me not to cry and suggested that we report to the police. I know that if it was my granddad who was negotiating with the guy, everything would be worse. But he just kept mumbling something about "haiyah, claim insurance la!!" while walking around without looking at the indian guys. I was still crying like a mad woman. Then my uncle Alex called me on the handphone and wanted to negotiate with the guy. Apparently, he "trusted" me so we were supposed to exchange numbers. But the thought of forking out for the cost was what made me cry somemore. And what my father would have done to me when he got home. After that my aunty Adeline and cousin Kwan Hoong(he's studying in seafield) came to my aid. My father arrived half an hour later and he negotiated with my dad till they settled on RM500. His rim was abit knocked, and his "honda lights" were cracked and his number plate was loose. He wanted RM700+RM500 for the lights AND the rim. I mean with stories of Darren Kang and the lady who got rolled over by an angry driver ... we don't want to take risks now do we? I had another cousin coming to my rescue, Cousin Hong Weng who was at that time working in PJ..but arrived too late and went to my house to check on me. I feel so grateful and bad that he had to brave the jam and come all the way.

I still had to drive all the way home.

His rim...

His slightly detached number plate. (my grandfather's sexy legs in the reflection)

His "honda lights" in his iswara. Cracked.

My grandfather, not looking happy.

Me still crying(i think).. cousin brother kwan hoong in yellow..granddad leaning against the car, and grandmother in red and aunty Adeline in white.

Scary guy and a friend(who looks like Fabian of Hitzfm.)

Close up.

My car unscratched.

He called two of his friend.. his gang. I called my whole family. My gang.

I went back and dad just spoke to me nicely about whether I learnt my lesson.. and I stayed over at Chien's house that night. to help her make muffins for the SPA carnival. This afternoon while I was doing my physics experiment, Dad called me and asked me if I am feeling better and whether I had any nightmares. I tell you, it was pretty traumatic. Pray that I won't be in any scary situations like this ever again.

Hi, my name is Jolene and if there is a question in your head, this answer will definitely answer it: I was wrong and irrational. I was being a woman.

Jolene Lai, Jolene Lai,
Came to life in January and not July,
She is 19 years of age,
Can't wait to earn her own wage,
This dental student is home sick,
Will never be in Kedah for more than three weeks.

Subang Jaya is where she's from,
The only place she'll ever call home.
Has a boyfriend, a brother and a dog,
The things she says can give you a shock.

Especially for her father, who always gets a heart attack when he reads this blog.

Hey, rhymes!
