Allergic To Bullshit

So this Saturday was to be dedicated to a full day of shopping..and yes, it was. All four of us who went(me, mel, abby and yen hou) would have to put a happy face here just to state our point.

:)  :)  :)  :)

At first I thought I was going to make it big by calling a number of you guys, but apparently most of the girls went shopping with their mums today and there's a mystery unsolved. Adrian, why didn't you turn up? I called your phone you didn't pick up.. haih, sorry la.. we went without you.

Picked Mel up and then proceeded to the KTM Subang to wait for Abby before heading down to KL. In actual fact, we told Yen Hou to meet us at Sungei wang by 11.30.. the poor guy ended up waiting for 2 hours. He had lunch by himself and bought the Malay Mail. Hehe, whereelse Abby, Mel and I were laughing and relating to girlie flicks of late. Semi-worried about Yen Hou, semi-worried about sounding like bimbos to the other passengers in the train.

When we arrived, he looked pretty deranged and solemn.. he stuck the front page of his Malay Mail in our faces. "BLOODY 24 HOURS". That's a pretty horrid looking headline. 4 murder and tragedy cases happened in Klang Valley in the last 24 hours.
I knew about the main case, coz I already read the Star before coming out today. Yeap, was crying alright. I mean how freaky can it get when a dad kills all three of his kids?? It's just too sad. Especially the pic where the classmates of one of the murdered kids cried when they heard the news. In the entire month of July, I fear to count how many cases like this has happened.

After putting the paper down, I realized it was already my turn to order my KFC meal. I love KFC. Shit, that's what the kids had for their last meal. Damn, this is depressing. But I like KFC. After lunch, we proceeded to SEED where Mel found a bag that she really really liked for Rm17. A SEED bag for RM17?!
We put skirts up against Yen Hou to see if it looked good on him. Scarily, he looked like he could fit in all of them.

It was pretty enjoyable coz everybody bought something.:) I first saw this nice peach dress in one of the small shops but decided to buy it later if I don't see anything I like. It was Rm65.00.. so no point in jumping into buying it immediately. We popped into so many shops that at one point we lost Yen Hou while browsing through hair accessories at SINMA. I bought so many butterfly clips and two pelican clips! Mel bought a bag, a pair of jeans and a P sticker. Yup, you heard me right. Abby bought a skirt and a pair of jeans.. and some hair ties..! And Yen Hou bought like four shirts. It was black and white shirts with different designs on it. I ended up buying the dress and felt so happy when it was actually Rm59.00

Mel, Abby and I were damn happy to look at the 70%s and 50%s waiting for us at Vincci!! Why are the nice ones not on sale??? MOFO SHOE SHOP. I just learnt the term behind MOFO. Thanks Barry.
I saw SOO many nice bags.. but I had to remind myself that I already had a nice transparent bag that I hardly use... and so many more.

As Abby and Mel were trying on some jeans, yen Hou and I went into Bodyglove to look for a shirt for him. After criticising some of the shirts that he picked, the salesgirl offered us a pair of couples' shirt. Halp!! I only see this kinda "accidental mistakes" on tv shows. LOL. The last time this happened to me was when I was walking with Marcus next to a  bridal fare, and someone thrusted us a wedding brochure... hahahaha..

Had abit of trouble carrying out an errand for Chien. Was supposed to pick up her  pants(again!) from Cantwo..walked round and round ...but of course with my fantastic memory, I remembered. I went in there and asked them for Su-Chien's pants.. and the guy's eyes lit up and said, "OH! You are her friend who came with her quite a while ago right? Haha, how are you?".. me, smiling politely, "yeah, I'm fine thanks..hehe".. he told me that the pair of pants actually cost Chien RM170.. but since she is such a good customer ( read: so many pants!) ... he only charged her RM150.. terrer..

I wish I had my camera... we had so much fun today! Like me trying on platforms half my height, me and Abby trying on the hair accessories, Mel and her many attempts to find the 'perfect jeans' and Yen Hou and pink giordano shirt.. and Yen Hou tottering along with ALL our shopping bags. It's good to bring ONE guy out to shop. He shops more and he carries the bags. Thanks Yen Hou!!

By the way, I wanna laugh at someone.. AHAHAHahaa.... aiyoh.. why la u bluff ur mother.. ahaahahahhhaha.. hahah..:) Hope you enjoyed yourself today! ...ahahahaha.. did u know that your stories to everyone were put together when we yam cha-ed without you today? Hehehe.. we solved the secret behind your stories! Muahahahhaa..hahaha..hor hor ta ta yo..

Time was running out and I had to be back by 6, so we went for a drink with Audrey and Jia Min before returning to Subang. Audrey and Jia Min didn't want to go home yet, coz they weren't "satisfied". After that we went up the monorail and realised that it was the wrong train.. wasted another few minutes there. Bengang. But Mel saw the benefits of the situation, ie. seeing more of Kuala Lumpur with RM2.10.

On the train, our budak bermoral stood up to let an old aunty sit down. Hahahaha.. after all, he did get top student for Moral.

Was talking to Abby about whether she remembered that there was this weird guy who talked to me about accounts, boyfriends and love on the monorail sometime ago. After a few minutes into our conversation, only did I realize that he was blind. Mel and Abby were laughing at the memory. Mel was telling us about how this weird guy started talking to her when she was eating alone at Mcd's. She said she thought it never happened in real life. I told her yea, at least you're lucky. Mine was blind.

I promised to be back by 6, but I under-estimated the time taken for the journey and apparently my dad was DAMN pissed at me. So poor Mel and Abby had to find their on way back. Was really shaking with fear.. dont' like it when dad gets mad.

Fortunately he only had two lines for me,
"You really get me fucked up, no sense of responsibility". I know it sounds crude, but its far better than a long lecture of "spend spend spend..money money money..study study study..university university..when you gonna apply.. money money money..why u wear like that .. money money money...university university..". Didn't know why my poor brother got the lecture though I'm not sure what he did wrong. His went along the lines of "ps ps ps...computer computer computer..study study study..pmr pmr pmr..lazy lazy lazy..sleep sleep sleep... blog blog blog.. no internet no internet no internet".

By the way, my brother was telling me he attended the Taylor's Leo install.. and he met Karen! Who was surprised to see my name on his vest.. and then surprised to find out that we were siblings..hehe.

Had to go for dinner with dad's childhood friend, Uncle Ching Ching and Aunty Janice. My dad knew him since they were in the same kindergarten..ahaha..so cute..!! By the way, we went to this porridge shop called Nibung Porridge or something in Kajang I think? The ladyboss had two sons.. one cute one whom I saw before two weeks ago..! *takes a bet that he's 20. place your money people*.. and another sweeter one who's 14. The younger one is soooo sweet and adorable..! I asked for chopsticks and he came back with one smiling.. and I asked for iced lemon tea and he smiled and said, 'coming, sorry ya..!"... hahaha.. and his mother was telling us that he loves music...! Something about wanting the latest Yamaha organ model and loving Richard Claydemen(sorry spelling lousy). Hahaha.. my brother even thinks he's handsome. I would go on gushing about him if I was 13 or if he was 18 but it would be just wrong for me to go on. The police might come after me. So I'll just leave it at that. Two hot guys(though the younger one is small, but serves well as an eye candy) at my father's favourite porridge shop. :D *sigh* Hot Porridge Boys. :D hahaha..

Oh this are my purchase for the week:

Hehehe..see.. funky earrings... butterfly clips.. pelican clips..*sigh*

My nice new dress from Sg.Wang..*love* .. on the right is me jiggling myself at my brother(cameraman).

And this is my denim dress from French blues..*love.. but not so much.. but still love*

And my favourite picture book:

Nail Up magazine Vol.6!!!! :D It's out!!!! .. .. if only I knew how to read Jap.

No Size No Size Cry Cry Cry

Hahaha.. someone wondered why I didn't use our funny little happening on Tuesday as my blog story..but that's just because I didn't have the time to blog! Was actually torn apart from using Hsien's phrase when skimming through the racks in topshop or chien's phrase when hurrying me to....do something, which I'll explain to you later in greater detail that left me laughing like a hyena. But since there's a story behind Chien's phrase, I may as well use Hsien's. Since there's not really a story behind that one.

See, everyday, I somehow or other have a really weird friend who will say something equally weird that has me nodding enthusiastically/spitting my food/laughing hard/peeing in my pants.. and I will decide to use that phrase as my blog entry title for the day. :D

Okay, I'll start with Chien's story.. we'll go in order. This happened on Tuesday. Hsien was abit upset about Something la.. the usual la.. whatelse la right? So fine. We comforted her but we suppose she needed more. Being girls, we took our scraps of paper and colourful highlighters and colour pencils to leave her a note of encouragement and support. :D If I have left you a note before, you'd know that I would sign off with my trademark circle with bold dot in the centre.. the signature LEFT BOOB. But today, since there was red colour pencil, I decided to artisti-fy my drawing a little.

The nipple shall be red. But time was running out and Chien was rushing off. Maths teacher, Ms. Susie was still in class though. Poised was my red colour pencil upon the sheet of scrap paper with words of love for our dear friend, but Chien was being too impatient for her own good. "FASTER COLOUR YOUR NIPPLE LA!!".. to which she recoiled in horror after those obscene words especially when Ms. Susie looked up in amusement and I was practically screaming with laughter. Honestly, Colour Your Nipple would have made a great blog entry title.

Yesterday, chien and I decided to go back to her place, since she wanted to nap abit. After a bowl of abit-spicy korean noodle(chien, it's the same one, sorry), ice blended milo for jolene, ice blended Redoxon with calcium supplements for chien("It's not great, but it does the job."(??)).. we decided to 'rush back' to college.

How would we know that Wiras have steering lock? Su-Hsien's car had funnylocks that we did not know how to work..Chien had a bit of problem with the car before calling hsien and asking her how .. but by the time we left her gate, it was 5 minutes to chemistry class.. and we all know that chemistry lab experiments takes exactly 2 hours to complete. There're no such things like enough time.. so I gathered my breath and said, "Chien, shall we skip chemlab?" ... "YOU SERIOUS AR??? REALLY WAN U KNOW!!! REALLY AR?!!".. Haihhh.. damn guilty lar..! But then I found out that Mel was going to Midvalley too that's why I decided to go along or else I would have wanted to go home(only 40 bucks to my name, another 20 bucks waiting for me in Reader's Corner).

Round and round the midvalley carpark, like a teddy bear,
one, two, three, tickle you under there!

No, actually, at least a space was found .. we were not very tickled, mind you.
Ticked(-off) mind you.

Mel and I left Chien and Hsien at Topshop and we proceeded on to what was two hours of bargain hunting around midv. I bought a Yin and Yang denim v-neck spaggheti top with bits of fringe lining near the boobs for 20 bucks!! Mel bought a british India ruffled in the middle brown sleeveless top for 23 and a mini skirt for 30. Oh and underwear too! I myself bought funky earrings from bonita.. the more plastic ones were like 50% off, but sadly the classier ones were 10% off. I bought a pair from each rack..but unfortunately the one from the classier ones were not at all classy but i like them anyway. They are pastle coloured morris minors/beatles? They are damn cute.. I love the colour combo!!

Can't wait for more shopping to be done! That'll be this Saturday. :D

One day, squirrel no.1 decided to call the rest of the squirrel gang to go nut hunting in the famous centre-of-the-woods. Squirrel no.1 remembered Badger who once told Squirrel no.1 that Badger was very fascinated with the way the squirrel gang nut hunt and would like to participate in their activities one day. Squirrel no.1 happily agreed and decided that the next nut hunt, Squirrel No.1 would include Badger. Squirrel No.1 happily listed out who-who of the squirrel gang would be going nut hunting on that particular day and included Badger in the list to other squirrel friends during lunch over almond nuts one afternoon. Squirrel no.2 protested and said that Squirrel no.2 can't stand Badger..because Badger, well, badgers Squirrel No.2 quite abit and Squirrel no.2 said, "no no no!" Maybe Squirrel No.2 was just kidding, because we all know that Squirrel No.1 is the brainchild of the nut hunt trip. Squirrel no.1 was not very happy with Squirrel No.2's attitude and had a little talk with Squirrel no.2. Squirrel no.2 complains that Badger likes to bite Squirrel No.2 in a manner of saying Hi. Squirrel no.1 just shakes its head and is determined to call Badger to come along to nut hunt anyway. So there.

It's From The Bathroom

You know what? I'm not so hungry anymore. Pepper in an enticing maggi hot cup SO turns me off. I feel pukey. *blurgH*
I yearn for my grapes or strawberries downstairs.. but if I want grapes, it'll mean I'll have to pluck them, AND wash them. If I want strawberries, I'll have to WASH them AND cut them. By then it'll be 7 and it's time for dinner. So why can't everything be instant like instant noodle?

Because instant noodles makes you fat. Therefore, over indulgence is not a good thing.
No? Take it from my brother who ballooned up to twice-thrice his size when he was 11/12 for eating instant noodles as desert for lunch almost everyday. :D
*dumps cup of maggi into dustbin*

Good news to all my MSN friends.. who have been fans of the story following the pimple in my nose. It decided to burst this morning .. but the nose is still sore. Will keep you updated if the pimple makes a comeback.

This afternoon I spent time at Chien's place with hsien watching 13 Going on 30 for the second time. The first time I saw it was on my bed at midnight on Saturday. The show ended with me sobbing my eyes out into pieces and pieces of tissue papers. I LOVE THAT SHOW.. lol. But watching it for the second time takes the novelty out of it...just a little bit. Now, I'm gonna do a Kyle, I'm gonna reflect personally in accordance to the show. (Kyle used Mean Girls).

Not that I've ever been through the phase of stuffing tissue papers down my non-existent(then) boobs or wishing to be in the cool gang.. don't think there are such culture here. However, I do remember an occasion after school in form1 looking at the side of Serene's boobs popping out of her pinafore and feeling envious..and cursing mine.(but looks like it turned out alright after all...*gives a Samantha smile..pats bossoms*)

But yes, I do wish for a childhood friend who is as close to me as Matt is to Jenna. Someone who would build me a Jolene dream house.(yes it'd be painted with glitter..ugh). But come on!! Hollywood is giving too much hope to us.. of all the 13 year old boys I've encountered.. they usually turn cold at the sight of girls. Only at 16 would they start shedding their blardy cacoons and go in search for flowers.
But that's not exactly childhood sweetheart anymore.:) At 16 it's more.. like the early stage of more established relationships.

I recall 13 and 14 year olds back then who have many exs. Thanks to the mentality of the four-five days infatuation. That's just stupid. It ruins the entire conception. But then again, I think my friends who had the honour of reading my form1 diary(and taunting me later by reading humiliating-yet-it's-alright one liners).. they'd somehow feel that I was abit of a desperado. Again, I have to state clearly, my desperado was not of  the "come la couple with me la tomorrow breakup" genre...but something else. Which is equally pathetic.

Well, I don't think I was that pathetic as to wish to be 30.. or 40 or 50 or 60 or dead.. I just wondered what it was like to be grown up!

But just think, how nice would it be to meet a very good guy friend who secretly fancied you when you were a tween? Like, I don't know.. 15-17 years from now?! I mean it's a normal feeling, like the type you get when you go for a reunion.. you wanna show how much of a 'changed' person you are.. but then again, it's just fake. What if the good guy friend still secretly feels for you deeply as he did nearly two decades ago? And of course it's illogical to skip 17 years thanks to magic wishing dust but maybe something more mild, yet about the same effect, like reading the school magazines/reading past diaries to remind you of the yester years? Hence, you're all nostalgic and the thought of a childhood/highschool sweetheart! The term that is SO overused, yet hardly ever put into practice!

Well, I can't believe a MOVIE actually made me all soppy and .. blabbering.. but if I had the chance to live with someone who has known me for more than half my life..I would be so lucky. Like we can laugh at inside jokes that we created a decade ago..or basically sharing the same past. I would not hold myself back by saying, that won't be possible..because, we'll never know, will we? :)

Contrary to popular belief(Mel's belief), I think today's entry made me sound more of a Charlotte than a Samantha eh? Don't be silly.. I don't think I'm anything like those four women..firstly I'm not bloody clingy and whiney(carrie), or desperate to get married...but maybe if i'm still single by 30(charlotte), hate men(miranda) or Hello-what's your name-oh-ic-let's-fuck(samantha). Com'n!!

Speaking of Samantha.. I never knew her real name was Kim Cattrall.. and I nearly died in shock when I discovered that she played Britney Spears' mother in Crossroads. HAHA.. PRez. Clinton once looked at her 'appreciatively' and she felt 'honoured'. But apparently she's not as saucy as Samantha....she actually takes things slow.

*hyperventilates*
Additional info: KIM CATTRALL IS OLDER THAN MY FATHER?? *faints*

Hi, my name is Jolene and if there is a question in your head, this answer will definitely answer it: I was wrong and irrational. I was being a woman.

Jolene Lai, Jolene Lai,
Came to life in January and not July,
She is 19 years of age,
Can't wait to earn her own wage,
This dental student is home sick,
Will never be in Kedah for more than three weeks.

Subang Jaya is where she's from,
The only place she'll ever call home.
Has a boyfriend, a brother and a dog,
The things she says can give you a shock.

Especially for her father, who always gets a heart attack when he reads this blog.

Hey, rhymes!
