Papaya Ball

The papaya tree in our cement garden is still giving us shite.

We've long given up on clearing the mess since it is usually really ripe papayas that comes crashing down all over the place. Most of them are in an advanced stage of decay already and some have even disappeared. LOL. Eaten or vapourised, I'm not sure.

But two green papayas dropped next to the gate a couple of evenings ago. Lie Yuen and I decided to kick the two papayas all the way to the dumpster.

I remember some minutes thing going on at the Match replays on the world cup's official website. (Yes, I actually go to see the highlights of the match videos.:))

The papaya decided to roll under Lishen's car instead. :(

Lie Yuen decided that my legs were long enough to get the papaya out.

Digging digging.

Damn papaya

But alas, I managed. :)

Let's continue kicking!

Obviously you don't expect me to touch that dusty papaya with my own bare hands?

Oh yeah, we had to dispose off the papaya leaf as well. It looked quite pretty in the morning actually. Like a four leaf clover newly descended right in front of our gate, with morning dew dotting it and the sunlight's reflection bouncing off....but it didn't do much to our luck with the physiology papers anyway. -_-

And so people, that's just me, acting like me, an extra horrible photo of me, but I think I quite like this picture because I'm having fun. :) I don't really care how I look on this blog as this blog chronicles me and my everyday nonsense.

Another shot at the papaya ball. Lai goes in for another pass..

Sadly the papaya doesn't take off from the ground when I kick it. It just keeps rolling.

Heading towards the dumpster.

Oh hello!:) *Papaya neglected to pose for the camera*

The game continues.

Lie Yuen was also kicking her own papaya ball.

It's a little dangerous though to continue kicking the papaya ball blindly. We had to wait for some cars to pass by first before crossing the road. Mummy always teach one.

Heh.:)

But by the time we got to the dumpster, neither of us wanted to pick the papaya up and throw it in the dumpster. LOL. So dirty and sandy and muddy. Eww.

Oooh, I've been addicted to this video alot recently. It's Mad TV's parody of the Moulin Rouge's Lady Marmalade video. I think I replayed it like 10 times. LOL. And when I am eating, studying, shitting, sleeping..all that replays in my head is this stupid video. Hahaha. Do search for the original Lady Marmalade video. I'm still very impressed with the original video. :)

I'm on a Mad TV binge. I LOVE BUNNY SWAN.

Till The Bloggers Cum Camwhorers Meet

The people of the previous meet are looking forward to another round of trigger happy fun!

Don't say I didn't invite, if you didn't see this post, don't fret about losing out on this Blogmeet.

editted: It'll be nicer if you know a thing or two about the local blogosphere and have more than a few friends in the scene and have been blog hopping about. I mean it'll be quite silly for strangers to gather at one place and just stare at each other with naught to say? eh? Or if you're a frequent blog hopper wanting to befriend some of the faces behind the blogs, then come on over!

What I'm trying to say is that, it's pointless if you come and then realise that you don't know anybody at all at the meet. So it'll be good for you to do abit of bloghopping around prior to the meet, if you're keen on it! :) To start you off: head on to the blogs of all those who came for the previous meet.[Link is given at the bottom..the Justin's permalink collection link..yea click on that]

Hopefully in a while, a list of the attendees can be put up. It'll help if you can leave your name in my comments. :) Then those who will be going for the meet can click on your blog and see who you are and then pee their pants in anticipation about getting to meet you.

The plan is to meet up at Burger King, KLCC and then when it's less sunny, we'll head out to the park and take crazy crazy photos ala senior pages for school year books. If the guards wanna chase us away we'll just say, "Alaa, tingkatan5 majalah punya ma..."

Psst. Don't let Smashpop do the talking. The last time he talked to the female security guard at Mid Valley he said to her, "Kalau kita tak boleh ambil gambar di MidValley..boleh kita ambil gambar bersama you?"

-_- *Jolene goes and hides face*

Details:

Venue: Burger King, KLCC

Time: 3pm - till a period of enough trigger happy moments.

Date: 29th of July 2006

I think I should give this meet a theme:

"Camwhorers In The Park!" Hahaha.. Ok, shoot me.

Most of the people from the previous meet will be there and a few other interested ones have aired their interest in attending.

(If I can convince our Blogging Tai Kor to come also that'll be good lah. Anyway he mentioned that he was interested and asked me when's the next meet. So, yeah. keep our fingers crossed that he'll be able to make it.).

Who wanna guess who's our blogging tai kor?

By the way, if those of you who remember my dad's reaction about me going for blog meets, it's cool now because as long as I go with real life friends whom I trust and have known for years..that's good. :) And a few of my real life friends(who are in the scene) will be coming along, so..yeah. Problems solved.

If you wanna know *WHAT* do people get up to at these kinda 'dos, then head over to Justin's grand collection of all the permalinks covering the 29th of April meet.

Is it just me or is there just something about having meets on the 29th?

I'll be MIA-ing for awhile. Exams+Diarrhoea. SO not the way to go.

Will probably be back, when....I cannot tahan. wahhaha.

p/s: Eh you other bloggers who are interested to come for the meet, the least you can do is put up a post regarding this event k?

p/ss: Do leave a comment here if you're interested in coming, at least we have a rough idea about how many people are coming and can do a chance of venues if the crowd gets too big.

Show's Over

She apologised.

This is her email:

"I owe you an apology. I would have written it earlier, but I have been busy, and needed a little time to cool off after some really disgusting comments. You may disagree, but I think it is unfair for these people to judge my entire personality on one post.

Yes, I did write a dumb, mean post. But as I have said, and still strongly stand by, I have nothing against you. I wouldn't call myself a fan of your blog, but it's decent. It isn't contentless, nor winding and boring.

I don't have much time, so please bear with the incoherence of this.

Also, I would like to congratulate you on the seemingly high amount of good friends you have.

I'm not one to add frills to things I say, but here is an apology. I'm sorry. What I said was uncalled for, but I also think the reaction to it was blown up some.

I'll leave you to decide whether you want the posts to stay on or be deleted."

I decided for the posts to stay so that we can all see how it began and how it ended.

Look, I didn't at all in my post criticized her physically or hurled physical insults at her save for the title but that's what a woman who is angered will usually scream.

I do not appreciate it that uncalled insults were hurled at her. If you wanted to criticize, it would have been nice if it was constructive. Insulting her family and all that, that's totally unneccessary.

I think it is very big of her to send me that email and I am sincerely moved. I want all of you to feel it too.

I cannot deny that I was not expecting her to rebutt in a grand fashion, which I would have left her to have the last say, if she did. Because this is not a blog war. I never intended it to be a blog war.

Therefore, it's more than I can ever ask with her apologizing to me in that manner.

I thank everybody who has showed so much support but some were rather overwhelming and left me squirming in my seat. I think there were too many unnecessary bashing on her looks.

Comments directed to her about the way she blogged about me, that was what I wanted when I was angry. Not about HER face/family.

It's like I'm the face who launched a thousand ships. In a totally different way though.

it'll be nice if all of you who commented can go over there and tell her that it was nice of her to come forward to email me. I really appreciated that. (and yes, I replied.)

She's the bigger person now. So I would say that I'm dropping this and from her email, I know that she would drop this and put it behind her as well.

Editted: Now that the Skyler issue is over, look at my tagboard again. :) Someone's not giving up. And all the bloggers, faster put on your make up and go get a hair cut or something coz that limpeh louboh wants to launch an ugliestblogger website. lol. launch lah. As if you'll get support. Damn stupid. *shakes head*

Hi, my name is Jolene and if there is a question in your head, this answer will definitely answer it: I was wrong and irrational. I was being a woman.

Jolene Lai, Jolene Lai,
Came to life in January and not July,
She is 19 years of age,
Can't wait to earn her own wage,
This dental student is home sick,
Will never be in Kedah for more than three weeks.

Subang Jaya is where she's from,
The only place she'll ever call home.
Has a boyfriend, a brother and a dog,
The things she says can give you a shock.

Especially for her father, who always gets a heart attack when he reads this blog.

Hey, rhymes!
