Gweilo Boy?

Ah Friday, a beautiful day.

Planned to pop over to Pyramid for awhile after class to buy two mother's day presents(one for my aunty and one for my grandmother) and also Chee Kiang's farewell present!
It's this soft RO(I didn't know it's an RO character!!) cushion with really fine beans.Whenever we passed by Bumcity's soft toy area, we'd have to give it a good squeeze before feeling satisfied!

Ah, so I was at the bus stop, awaiting the good ol' metrobus when sudddenly, out popped a Calvin Phang .. who grew metres taller and had shorter straighter hair and a happier face. There MUST be something about that national service thing. So then I asked him, "So, what are you up to?"...and he was like, "ah, nothing, just doing some illegal business you know.."... haha.. I was curious,"Oooo.like?!".. "Smugging cigarettes in NS"..and then he was telling me how everybody at NS thought he was caucasian.. well, he didn't look very chinese..but hahaha...then apparently he was going to go to Australia to study and he was heading to Pyramid to buy clothes.. and on the bus he told me that he attempted suicide 5 times, that he found his singing voice in NS and that the chariman of Warner Bro's son gave him a singing contract..but he turned it down coz he thinks that paparazzi will get him depressed, the poor dear, and how he was constantly bullied during NS. The last part deserved my sympathy.

We went to Bumcity to get Chee Kiang's present and then he helped me to look through the soft soft pillows and we agreed on the RO character which is baby blue(sweeet).. then it was actually with a tag that said, RM35.. and then on the same bag it said RM30.. so Calvin said he'd peel of the RM35 one and leave the RM30 one.. hahaha..and so I managed to buy it for RM30.

Calvin is actually quite nice, despite his weird ways .. and stories..which I find very unbelievable.. well, Believe It..........or not!

Bumped into Hsin Ee, Audrey and Jia Min and gossiped with them for awhile. After that, I bumped into Lee Cheng.. it's been ages since I last saw that girl!!

Later in the evening, Chee Kiang, Gaya, Nadine and Jasmine came over my place as I needed to pass Chee Kiang his farewell present. and they were SOOOoo infatuated by Angel.. hahaha... and Nadine wanted to hear stories about Fake Britney..lol..:) I miss all of them!! They were going down to Hartamas for Chee Kiang's farewell do'. But too bad I only had RM20 with me and I don't think I'd have enough to go along.... so.. just me, mum and the tele with TVB on for my Friday night!

My dad came home telling me that he bought me a car..lol..I was like, "what?" then I saw the bag, it read, "ToyCity". Hahhah, one night when I was practising parallel parking in SS14..he got so pissed and told mum, "MUM, we must get her a toy car and let her practice her parking!!!!!!!".. he really went out and got me one. It's an RM25 replica of a Kelisa..lol...My dad told my brother that he got me a car. The look on my brother's face was priceless.. it took him soooo long to realize that it was a toy car... haih so dumb..

My brand new spankin' Kelisa.

oh wow.. gaya..

oh wow..beautiful interior.. Esther, similiar to your car or not? hahaha..

Dad and puppy sleeping together

Chien was telling me about this friend of her sister(aged 10) giving her sister an invitation to her house.. my goodness... Chien allowed me to take it home and update it onto my blog..lol

LoL.. Ah, kids. But I'm sure all of us went through those stages.. when we were so intrigued by formalities and such. Ah, I still remember my good friend Yeoh Hui Min in standard 3 playing "teacher, teacher" with me. The thrill she got from playing "teacher, teacher" with me was being able to mark the books..and I myself was excited as I got to assign exercise to our students(soft toys).. or maybe the boys who were sitting in front of us in class, Jegan and Chong Jin Yang. hahaha.. :)

PMS Remedy Water

I was a feeling a little bored this afternoon and was absent mindedly picking at the foil of a stray menstrual panadol and since it wasn't THAT time of the month ..I decided to see if it's 'soluble in water'. This means, it's got Vitamin A and C! No? Haha.. I don't know. Well, can you spot the pill? hehe.. and I threw in a bit of glitter and give it a good shake. ta-da! The perfect remedy for Jolene's aunty-arrive(yee ma tou in cantonese-meaning period la..doh!) ... Glittery Pink Panadol Water. Mmm. BLEURGH..

Chocolate Chip Ice-cream

Today I went out with Chee Kiang for lunch at Kim Gary's! I treated him to lunch since he has had his NS for three months and will be leaving for Singapore this coming Monday for his ASEAN scholarship.. haih, so fortunate! Anyway, we thought the food there sucked..but was too lazy to move out anyway. Basically we spent most of the time looking for a sweater for him to bring to singapore(? I don't remember Singapore being cold).. but he thought that the one in this shop in One-Utama which has discounts for NS trainees is better!

We met Ooi Yinn Cher, Amanda Ng, Su Yin and some current form5s..(they'd refer to us as "ex-form5s"..ahem) at Kim gary's.. and Chee Kiang was amazed at the amount of weight Amanda Ng loss. He said her mole didn't suit her so well now.. she looked better last time with abit of weight on. I told him about the story that I heard about her working in Ayamas during the holidays and loss loads of weight due to that.

Then we bumped into Jiad Li and Pui Mun(who was also back from NS) at Wearhouse! That was where I found cute looking halter necks for 9.90!!!!!.. and they were plain..and there were sooooo many colours. All you halter wearing people, head to Wearhouse in Pyramid, NOW!!

After that, as we were heading to Baskin Robbin for some ice-creams... I received a phone call from my godmum(the one I bumped into when I was at Sg.wang with Su-Chien yesterday?!!! Lightning does strike the same place twice!)..."Ei, I know you're at pyramid..and I know you're with your boyfriend.." ..To which I quickly said, "nooo larrrr!!" and then she continued, "Anyway, come down to Colours and see whether if this dress suits your sister or not..!" ..So I left for Colours and even my grandmother was there too! My cousin/godsis was trying on this black spaggeti/of the shoulder sleeves dress with a belly chain .. something Melody would wear you know! Mel, it's full length! and my cousin is only 13..so she's not that tall yet.. I didn't think the dress fitted her perfectly, but once she donned a pair of heels, Voila! the dress looked so much better on her!

After that I joined Chee Kiang at Baskin Robbin and for the first time, I had nice tasting ice cream at Baskin Robbin. This was probably because all the times I've been at baskin robbin was normally with Amanda and she normally chooses exotic sounding flavour and ends up hating it..(there was once she actually started crying because she chose a really bad flavour and she paid so much for it.. plus she was cheated by the taximan..hahahahah).. anyway, I liked it coz I chose a really common flavour, Chocolate Chip. Mmm. Will go back for more next time:)

We wanted to plan for a yam cha session for Esther's Belated birthday at Darus at 4pm... but the silly girl couldn't make it so we called it off. Esther, if you were free you would have had a cake fom Secret Recipe waiting for you..lol.. so, birthday makes you fat, eh? only you, you know. Damn lucky. Hmph.
Then Chee Kiang sent me home. He asked if I wanted to drive back.. lol... he asked in quite a meek tone.. knowingly I said, "No, thanks though.." hahaha.. no one trusts my driving. lol..well even I myself don't really trust it.:) hehehe. Hey, the offer is still up. I have not had a friend see me drive yet! Who wants to be the first?!

Decided to spend the rest of my holiday relaxing.. and went on a tvb drama binge just now. Just finished watching "Dark Shadow".. a tvb telemovie starring Steven Ma. For the first time, I saw him portraying a role as a guy who could lose his temper.. the show's basically about him having two other brothers(a set of triplets, they are). And then there was this girl who suffers from memory loss and dated all three of them..(Steven ma in three different roles, ho ho ho, lucky me) .. and the show is basically about over-protection and mental problem..and well, Steven Ma. Esther, you want? Only two episodes. Since it's a telemovie:D After that I treated myself to episode 10 of Armed Reaction IV. This episode is quite interesting:) Esther are you done with 13,14,15 and 16? Kay Hong, hehe, I know you want to borrow. Will bring for you soon, k?:)

Hi, my name is Jolene and if there is a question in your head, this answer will definitely answer it: I was wrong and irrational. I was being a woman.

Jolene Lai, Jolene Lai,
Came to life in January and not July,
She is 19 years of age,
Can't wait to earn her own wage,
This dental student is home sick,
Will never be in Kedah for more than three weeks.

Subang Jaya is where she's from,
The only place she'll ever call home.
Has a boyfriend, a brother and a dog,
The things she says can give you a shock.

Especially for her father, who always gets a heart attack when he reads this blog.

Hey, rhymes!
