Semi-Solid Booger Sucks

*stretches* It's almost been a week now that I haven't blogged eh?

Just felt like writing abit while awaiting my mum to finish watching Episode 7 of Perish In The Name Of Love so that she can come upstairs and dig my ears for me*shivers in ecstasy*.. lol.. hsin, have u started watching it? great show. She asked me to burn episode 7 for her so that she can see her Sai Hin(Steven Ma) looking damn pitiful whenever she wants. Now that I have left her alone downstairs, she'll be able to cry in any style she wishes. LoL. That's my mother.. 5 minutes into a never-before-seen Chinese show, she'll start crying..and we're like, "Mum?! It's only 5 minutes!" .. lol

Yesterday we(Chien, Barry and I) had lunch with Krystle, Jocelyn and Smalls at Mee Yoke.. haha.. we were walking down from college and then Jocelyn was like, "Eh, who's the guy with the painted nails ar?!"(loud,loud).. and then Barry turned around.. haha..and then Jocelyn was like giving him her innocent look..and then she was like, "eh, why you paint your nails lar?".. hahaha to which Barry replied something that I can't quite recall! Hahaha.. then I was like, "er, you guys don't know each other one ar?"..feeling extremely surprised.. then I introduced the both of them to each other and Jocelyn got all excited because she made a 'new friend'. Then we sat down for lunch and ohmigod, poor Barry, he is finally on the receiving end. Don't think he has been made fun of so much in one day than in his entire life. Jocelyn was like, "Why la your hair must be so the gaya one? Must have long long fringe..! To cover your pimples issit?!?!" .. Barry was just speechless..lol..!! First time! ..and then Smalls was like, "Ohmigod I can't stand your nails...!!! I'M gonna bring the nail remover tomorrow and remove it for you.." ...Barry was still speechless..lol.. hahahha..it went on and on and on and on..lol.. Then Huini and Teng Choon joined us, much to Jocelyn's delight.."NEW FRIENDS!!!!!!!"

After classes we had our moral exam... but before that we(Hsien, CHien, Barry and I) went to the IN-Cafe to study.. some how I just can't picture it as a CAFE cafe, coz I always somehow or other associate it with Campus City.. which is true, as Campus City is just above IN-Cafe... but the setting and atmosphere is great.. enough space for four last minute workers to finish their bio report, physics manual, moral revision and accounts homework. Saw Ben Shyen and Pei Xuan there! It's amazing how they want to make those trips from IMU all the way back to Subang...phew.. Ben Shyen was really happy to see me! (Sorry, Ben, not here for CC).

I forgot to add that my period came on wednesday morning and I had this bad case of diarrhea at the same time. It was like, 3 trips to the MPH toilet with an anus that resembled an open tap-that is faulty. SO IMAGINE... period pain with diarrhea pain.. horror. It's like I had this constant urge to "just let it rip".. but we wouldn't want poor Rudi who sits behind me in class to die of methane gas(Pek Li's joke-lol) poisoning... so I managed to compress those farts into soundless ones but it would mean that my anus threatened to "just let it rip" and I feared by "just letting it rip".. I wouldn't be able to close my tap. But fortunately the threat is.. just a threat and will dissolve into a sharp pain in the left hand side of my abdomen and then there will be a great rumbling/bubbling sound across my tummy. This is exactly what happened to me on the eve of my PTS(the examination that enabled me to be a year younger than most of my peers) exam. But I was only sitting for my moral exam. It can't be that bad! The following day(yesterday) was worst. I made 5 trips to the toilet and could even do it on command and could control the amount of time spent in the toilet cubicle. Was so hoping that a bout of diarrhea would make me skinnier..*yea, baby* ... but then it ended today.. In a way it's good, don't think I can take too much of those 'threats'. Very very very painful.

And here I am, wondering if there are guys who still want me. LOL.

After dance club meeting today, Hwee Yin and I bought 11 packets of seaweed(60 cents each) and had a nice seaweeded feast while awaiting for her cha cha class to start. :D Seaweed rocks.
Was supposed to put up a pic of chien's extremely cute drawing of the many shoes/sandals/flats that she owns that she drew during Physics. LoL. Will be going with Mel and Esther to tomorrow's SU BB tourney 3-on-3. Viva La Interact!

Tactic

After coming back from genting on Friday, Mum told me that we would be heading to Petaling street with dad and dad's ex-boss's wife and daughter. They are Australians..(if anyone can remember my previous entries about my dad's ex-boss' 6"4' son and 6"3' friend..they are from the same family). This means the daughter, being a 13 year old, was taller than me by an inch or so. *gasp*

Going to Petaling Street twice in 2 weeks means that I'd be wearing a newly bought Petaling Street shirt any other day. Sooo.. I went to Petaling street wearing a Paul Frank T-shirt.. and not only did I get discounts ("Last week I bought THIS shirt you charge me RM10 wor?!") and I was also less pestered by them pesky ah beng sales people as I was wearing a PAUL FRANK T-SHIRT from Petaling Street..meaning I could very well be one of them, plus my "kam" hair.

I went to Malacca the following day for Cheng Beng. After lunch, my cousin brother, Hong Fei found a grasshopper in the house. It was without a leg! .. Here's some really close up pics of the hopper.

Milky looking eyes.. eewww

Hahahaha..he looks so serious.

Yesterday morning my dad received news that his (another) ex-boss' daughter passed away due to high fever. And she was only 18. Her name is Yen Yen or something and I used to play with her as a child. Apparently she was packing her bags to go to the hospital and she just collapsed on to her bed. It's damn pitiful when parents have to send their children off. I went to college today after my two weeks break and Ms. Tang(my maths teacher) told our class that one girl in our batch died due to high fever over the weekend. Immediately I piped up and said that I know the girl.. man, I didn't even know that she was in my college..

Ox tail soups are evil

I know I've been neglecting my blog for the past few days.. but I've been tired!! And studying for moral? *snorts*. Well, at least I'm at chapter 4.. argh.... 5 and 6 left.

I shall bring you back to Thursday when our journey to Genting began. After sending my brother off to school, mum picked Barry up and we headed to the Subang KTM. The first person we saw there was Han Chung and Jocelyn later on in the background. Said "hello!" to Han Chung(my weird class rep) and got a mere nod of the head with a bit of glimpse at the side, in my direction. I should have bought the lottery. Pestered him abit more by saying, "Good morning! Had your breakfast already?!" to which I got a grunt and a shrug. I tell you, I could hear the casino calling me by now. I asked Jocelyn if she managed to hold a proper conversation with him, to which she replied, "you say leh?"

We were fortunate enough that our train arrived 15 minutes later and we reached KL Setnral within 15 minutes! We thought that we'd be the last to arrive but Lie Yuen, Agnez and Siew Kin arrived later! So off I went to the ticket booth to get tickets for the bus to Genting Skyway with Jocelyn. Felt so adult-ish. Ahem.

At 9am we boared the bus that took us all the way up to Genting SKyway. During the bus ride, much to my classmates' dismay, I managed to cover the Islam part of my Moral Education notes..nyahahahhaa.. quite interesting actually. We finally reached Genting Skyway about 10plus. It was so great to go at such a low season. Immediately we managed to hop on to a cable car...or a "gondola" if you like. Hmmm. Within minutes of the cable car ride, out came my green seahorse bubblegun which shootes multiple bubbles continuously for 10 seconds. DAMN COOL. hahaha. Imagine, a trail of bubbles moving randomly hundreds and metres above the ground which consists of some "breath-taking Malaysian rainforests".. and you see the bubbles float away further and further towards other mountains enveloped in the mist.. ahh.. but nah, I was not that free and poetic but was busy shooting as many bubbles as possible to let other cable cars' occupants to get all misty-eyed and poetic. We took quite a bit of pics on the cable car! Here's some! Han Chung took out his video cam.. he was shooting the Genting Highlands for his mother. Apparently he hasn't been to Genting since he was one.

Bubbles!

Me wanting a photo with the very misty background!

My powerful bubblegun!

...damn power!

Fong, feeling very proud of my bubble gun.

When we reached First world, we wanted to check in but didn't know that we could only start checking in about one and a half hour's time(12.30pm).. sooOo.. we decided to lepak around First World plaza abit.. and had lunch at Pizza Hut! (everywhere was soooo expensive..the cheapest alternatives were fast food).

Clockwise from left: Lie Yuen, Jocelyn, Agnez, Fong, Barry and Han Chung.

Fong having a game at one of the game machines at the arcade after finding a stray token on the ground. Kiam Siap!

Agnez feeling bored, yet looking pretty.

We found a pink twisty clown balloon tied upon the rabbit's ear.

An innocent body part belonging to one of the kiddy ride machines there.

l-r: Han Chung, Fong and Barry. We were all getting a little bored waiting for our turn to check in.

l-r: Me, Jocelyn and Agnez.

Scary promotion dude who was promoting the haunted adventure. That's Han Chung behind filming his Genting Documentary for his mum.

After checking in, we decided to chill out a little before heading for the themepark! We did squabble over the rooms a little.. the boys being damn ungentlemanly for not letting us girls have the two conjoined rooms(we have four rooms) ..and we settled it by sharing the two conjoined rooms among the 7 of us. Together-gether ma. Haha.

Barry getting his fortune told. Serious.

Jocelyn was feeling damn sleepy...

Haha, we were really silly and sat around in a circle and took  a picture of the person on our right.. but this accordance of pics is not in correct order..lol.. not all of them are from the same round. (we had a few rounds, exchanging cameras and all)

Me!

Agnez!

Lie Yuen!

Jocelyn!

The boys found a used condom outside their window! This is a picture I took of it. Damn zoomed, eh?

Barry found the condom box nearby and decided to take a pic of it too.

Shhh.. Fong doesn't know we took a picture of him!

Han Chung is cool.

Us looking nice!! Poor Agnez left behind there!
l-r: Me! Lie Yuen, Agnez and Jocelyn!

And out we went!! Our first ride was the Spinner! As to which we all came down abit light headed and giddy.

Han Chung doubting the security of the contraption that will be swinging him in circles later on. Agnez looks damn excited!

Lie Yuen's first time on the spinner!

Barry checking out the height of this thing.

Fong very very laidback..having sat on it just last month!

Me with the corkscrew behind!

It started to rain... and we wanted to go on to the corkscrew so badly..but apparently the rain was dangerous..bla bla..and so solero shot was of course out of the question. We made our way back to First world plaza!

I had to take a picture with the mist and the rain.

We took the opportunity to go visit Snow World. We had to rent musky boots with equally musky jackets that smells more than musky.. and thin thin thin gloves which serves no purpose except for colouring our knuckles a mysterious shade of black/blue and leaving them soaking cold instead of toasty and warm. We wanted to try snowballing each other but ended up with frost bitten-feeling hands.. And all my life, I've never had fog come out of my mouth!! My first time!! Puaahhh..Puaaaah.. Huaaaahhhh... hahaha. We went to look at the Sky Venture and stood there being amazed for awhile (human beings flying)..Would love to try it someday but am afraid of the free falling experience.yIkes.

At 5pm, we tested to see if the rain has stopped. And took somemore pictures. Sorry for lagging your computer.

Agnez and I clowning around.. look at how wet the area was!

The lot of us!

After awhile the rain slowed down and we managed to jump onto the Solero Shot... and arghh..this time it goes up slowly and then drops down! We all agreed that it was shit scary.. but made for the Cork Screw anyway. But this time we were all suffering from drastic change in pressure(solero shot's fault!) and couldn't get the aching head out of our head... the cork screw swinging our heads to and fro and banging it about in between the rubber protector (on our chest) definitely didn't help.

Feeling happy and accomplished, as coming to Genting means Solero Shot and Corkscrew or NOTHING.. we went back to the hotel room to change for dinner and the Fantastica show. Barry was the one who took the longest to bathe. Exfoliating, my dear? We had our dinner at KFC(Cheap!) and then at 9pm we made for Fantastica.. which is like, some sort of New Age Circus kinda concept or bla bla.. and is apparently the biggest and most expensive Malaysian circus. But it's not at all lame like most things that Malaysians take pride in. The acrobatic acts were wonderful! There's this wheel which is made out of two hulla hoops and four acrobats can spin around with it ..in IT together! ...and the guy on the top of the hulla hoop(tucked into the hulla hoop) would somersault backwards..followed by the next guy on the top of the hulla hoop.. and there was a trampoline and the performers had to jump on it and cling onto a two story high pole with their legs and their hands in the air..and a very extraordinary one would be two muscle-bounded men who were damn strong. The smaller sized guy could rest his head on the base of the bigger guy's neck and straighten his body up. Like a handstand, but with your head. The whole thing was like a lazer show, only that it's done by humans. Absolutely incredible. And Barry was like telling me that he will be sleeping during the show..muahahhaa..who was going "WAH, that's DAMN cool!" ?!?! .. lol

After that we decided to go to the infamous mamak place that Fong was going on about. We searched high and low(literally) for it before he finally decided to fish out his phone and ask his friends for directions. Grr..!

Lie Yuen looking damn cute!

Us and nice car!

We finally found the mamak place!

Lie Yuen and I ordering drinks for everyone.

Han Chung placing his orders.

Me being really kind..

Barry went away for awhile and Jocelyn and I needed something to sooth our sugar-overdosed throats and made for Barry's Air Limau...and ewww..it was lukewarm!

Then after that we went back to First World to see if we could sneak into the cinema..but none of us dared. After that, Agnez and I were left behind by the group and we decided to sneak in ourselves. We managed to do it!! But unfortunately it was damn full. So we couldn't watch the entire movie. We went back to the hotel and Fong took out the beer to chill (he left it outside his window..). Then like my last genting trip, we took out a bottle to play a little improvised spin the bottle. A deck of cards would be placed in the centre and everytime the bottle points at a certain person, he/she would have to take a card and if it's black, he'd have to slap the spinner. If it's red, he/she would have to kiss the spinner. The first time they have to kiss, would be the hand. Second the head. The the cheeks, then Lips!*oooo!*...then followed by many kisses along the arm. Then a peck on the neck. Then sharing a tortilla chip without using hands, and last open mouth kissing. Hahaha. Learnt from chinese show. Barry managed to kiss everyone in the whole room. Hahaha. Yes, even the guys. Tsk tsk tsk. After that, about 3am, Fong and Agnez decided to go to the casino. And when they came, I was apparently sleeping like a log .. and my hand was strewn all over the bed.. and I was on my belly.. argh.. EMBARASSING. Just yesterday my brother told me that I was sleeping with one leg in the air. ?!?!. The entire we were teasing whoevere and whoever about hearing noises like "ging-gong-ging-gong-ging-gong"(bonking noises!) later in the night.

Agnez looking reallllllly tired.

And as usual, we were plagued with the difficult task of searching for an affordable place to have our meal. We settled for Hainan chicken rice.. because it is BENEFICIAL.

Agnez created my trademark heartshaped food stuff. This time it is veggie and soya sauce.

Before leaving, I took a picture with one of the promotional monsters at the haunted house ride. The monster asked me where I was from and I smiled and said Subang. And he was like, "ooo!! I'm from Shah Alam!" and I went, "Ahahha.same kampung!" and then he was like "Ya!" and I shook his rubber foam hand. Being polite..

me and the monster

After coming down from the Genting Skyway, I went to buy tickets for the bus back to KL Sentral.. and suddenly there was shouting! (got show! got show!) Apparently there was this young guy who was shouting a long string of very creative vulgarity to which the older guy(who looks like a sweet old kindergarten teacher or maybe a diciplinarian at a primary school at the very least) kept replying, "You are so rude to me! I am an old man you know!" only to be followed by more creative vulgarity from the young guy who looks quite respectable himself .. looks abit like Teck Ming of LEO Club of SMKSU 1999..he looks like a fresh graduate. Educated I'd say. Very educated in the many languages he cursed in. He even grabbed his crotch and jacked it the old guy. Then the old guy  showed his fist and shook it and said, "I give you this hah! You think I'm scared of you ar!" ... then the old man proceeded to the young guy..(by now I was saying "excuse me, excuse me", wanting a good look of the show). After awhile a guard came and we found out that the entire problem was just because the young guy cut the old guy's line. Sheesh. After that, when we boarded the bus, we got the back seats and right in front of us was where the old man was sitting... scary! Poor Han Chung was apparently shitting in his pants.

Hi, my name is Jolene and if there is a question in your head, this answer will definitely answer it: I was wrong and irrational. I was being a woman.

Jolene Lai, Jolene Lai,
Came to life in January and not July,
She is 19 years of age,
Can't wait to earn her own wage,
This dental student is home sick,
Will never be in Kedah for more than three weeks.

Subang Jaya is where she's from,
The only place she'll ever call home.
Has a boyfriend, a brother and a dog,
The things she says can give you a shock.

Especially for her father, who always gets a heart attack when he reads this blog.

Hey, rhymes!
