Adventures Of Jay The Squirrel: Ruffled Feathers

Jay The Squirrel and her other rodent tree-mates are starting to adapt to the tree that they were to live in in the Rodent Conservation Programme(RCP).

Things are more convenient now because Cici The Squirrel, Shannie the Squirrel and Kiki The Squirrel have brought their wheel burrows around to go to the bushes nearby to get their weekly supplies of nuts and berries.

Everynight, the seven rodents will gather around the little toadstools growing in the moister parts of the big oak tree and educate themselves on the benefit of the Rodent Conservation Programme(RCP).

However, a few of the squirrels feel a little different about Vinnie the hedgehog. It's not a matter of the difference in fur type but it's definitely a case of attitude. Vinnie the Hedgehod is a very nice hedgehog, generally. But there's such a thing as been too polite and it just irks the other rodents especially when they are trying to digest the tough activities set by the Rodent Conservation Programme.

All the rodents brought along their magic crystal balls which can aid their pursuit to attain a better understanding of the Rodent Conservation Programme. These magic crystal balls are perhaps the best creations to date. These rodents treasure these crystal balls very much and do almost everything with it. They communiciate with their other rodent friends back home, review their RCP activities on it and can even listen to the beautiful bird calls that these rodents so adore!

Well, everynight, Vinnie the Hedgehog would press grapevines on to the crystal ball so that the melodious bird calls do not disturb her tree-mates and put it to her furry ears and listen to it while she reviews her activities from the programme. However, she gets too engrossed with the bird calls and crows along unfortunately, not as melodious as the actual bird calls.

Jay The Squirrel sits on the toadstool next to Vinnie The Hedgehog and has to bear with the croaking Vinnie the Hedgehog. It's very inconsiderate because the rest of the rodents are trying very hard to concentrate on their Rodent Conservation Programme(RCP) activities. Vinnie the Hedgehog has abit of a breathing problem and her throat will vibrate before a sigh (which sounds disturbingly akin to a sigh of pleasure) is released. This happens every 2 seconds.

Jay The Squirrel is tugging at her fur in frustration.

Vinnie the Hedgehog likes to pat Jay The Squirrel on her back, giving Jay the Squirrel a nasty shock because she doesn't like to be called from the back when she is deep in thoughts, and would ask things like, "Eh, got nuts ar? I want to eat."

Jay The Squirrel knows she shouldn't have this type of mentality but the little things are starting to irk her. It's not a good attitude, but it's unavoidable.

Vinnie the Hedgehog has a tendency of borrowing everything because it's convenient. The rodents peer into the confusing tea leaves to gain a better understanding on the Rodent Conservation Programme(RCP) activities but Vinnie the Hedgehog just asks the simplest questions without touching her own tea leaves.

Jay The Squirrel should be more of a helpful rodent, but she can't help feeling annoyed. WHY WHY?!

It doesn't help that Vinnie The Hedgehog gets too polite and says things like, "You sure I can eat your nuts? Sure ar? Eh, don't angry you know. Really ar? You sure you don't mind? Seriously, don't mind? Really? I'm damn sorry, don't angry okay? You angry, I know you're angry. Eheh, Thanks ar, eh damn sorry lah. Eheh, you damn cute lah." At every sentence Jay The Squirrel will be nodding/shaking her head in a yes/no accordance yet Vinnie The Hedgehog will continue with these extreme act of politeness.

Jay The Squirrel will try to be a nicer squirrel because other than the annoying habits of Vinnie The Hedgehog, she's not too bad a rodent.

The other rodents in the tree will try to live happily ever after. So far so good.

And that was another episode of the Adventures of Jay The Squirrel.

i believe that honesty is quite important especially in a tough commmunity like the rodent conservation. if vinnie the hedgehoge is making other rodents uncomfortable the other rodents must tell her that.
or otherwise you can always sabo her, like putting itching vines into her fur while she's sleeping.. :P

Deaer Jay the S...

Hang in there... but know that there's a difference between patience and compromising.. the later is better.. so if u are really kawan with the pointy one.. talk to her about it... go past the "politeness" well at least hopefully that kind of act from her side signifies sincerity...

Crystal ball me whenever u fell like it.. my tea leaves are cracking my b**ls ... sob sob..

Hi, my name is Jolene and if there is a question in your head, this answer will definitely answer it: I was wrong and irrational. I was being a woman.

Jolene Lai, Jolene Lai,
Came to life in January and not July,
She is 19 years of age,
Can't wait to earn her own wage,
This dental student is home sick,
Will never be in Kedah for more than three weeks.

Subang Jaya is where she's from,
The only place she'll ever call home.
Has a boyfriend, a brother and a dog,
The things she says can give you a shock.

Especially for her father, who always gets a heart attack when he reads this blog.

Hey, rhymes!
